Watering This Time Of Year

Just curious if anyone has or is planning to stop watering the cacti yet?

I stopped watering lophs as soon as it got into winter, but the outdoor trichs and grafts get all the weather and still do fine. Then ive got some grafts and cacti in a greenhouse under some cfls, so they need some water every couple of weeks

ive got a san pedro in the ground that has taken all the rain we have got.

has anyone started watering yet? I know its not exactly warm.... One of my TBMs and L. fricii are showing insane growth in the last week and a bit, should i still hold off watering for a little while yet? I know these all sound like dumb questions, is just my first winter with some more delicate cacti. Thanks

I left all my cacti in the weather over winter so they never really stopped being watered (various trichocereus and 1 L. williamsii). Feels like Spring has come a lot earlier this year. I reckon if you feel it's time to water them go for it.

yeah, i think when i finish waiting at court ( ) and get home i will give them a sprinkle.

 

Alot of growth on majority of my collection and 3 loph flowers. 2 fricii and one koehoresii. I didnt expect the lophs to flower before the trichs. Maybe my trichs are still to small in height.

My san pedro has had far too much water this winter, so I am really gonna wait until it's ribs have deflated a bit. So i know it has used some of its internally stored water, dont want the seams splitting
