how can i block light coming out of my fan?

i have a small grow box with a pc fan attached for ventilation and i was wondering how could i stop light exiting through the fan?

Move it out of the box. I keep both full of my fans out of my tent and in a box full of foam. You could fit a right angle cover over the exhaust, something that won't restrict flow. Air can bend but light can't.

or use some 100mm PVC in an S shape like I do, check out my diary for an example. Works perfect.

the only way i can stop light from my tent through the fan is to have a short lenght of flexable ducting and bend an 's' in it. it dosent require a lot of ducting or take up much room, one bend works for me but it can be hard to hide the ducting if secuirity is an issue. goodluck with the grow .

yep as said have a pipe or piece of ducting with a bend in it to allow the air to move unhindered while at the same time stopping the light from escaping
