Yeah sure I've made and used one 20 plus years ago and ain't seen one since then

Mine was a bit more crude. No lathed cone or pipe fitting. a cone made from a 20 cent round piece aluminium can, a pen and an apple

Jam the pen into the apple at a 45degree angle on opposite sides of the apple trying to get the two holes close but not meeting. This bit in between acted as the filter.

Cut the aluminium disc to the middle and curl it to make a cone and fit it to the hole. One apple bong

Smoking through it is a bit rough but if you leave enough apple between the two holes it sure tastes of apple. If you remove the core the smoke would go direct from the cone to the mouth piece and there would be bugger all taste of apple.

Yea! Now that's the go Merlin & it's been quite an education and hell, I might even try that one day! Got the apples now all I need is the choof lol.

No really I apologise for being a smartarse but it all did seem a bit of a lark. But I have actually learned something and NOW it sounds interesting.

Tis amazing what you learn when you least expect it. Let us know how it goes!
