The lummen output on those bulbs is pathetic....A 600 watt HPS pushes out 90 thousand lummens and these things are around 14 thousand.........Their O.K for a tiny closet grow or mum/clone pregrow...but appart from their ultra low wattage and heat outputs the things are worthless for growing ......

1/4 of the energy i.e. 125watt = 500watt Hid and cool! Cool enough to place a lot closer to the ladies.

The website stats give only 12500 lumens per 125 watt light. Wow, a 600w son-T does 95000 lumens, or thereabouts. How is this more efficient?

 

To match a 600w Son-T with these lights you'd need at least 7 to get close to 90000 lumens and 8 to exceed it. Given the penetration (or lack of) with low intensity bulbs, 1000w of these still wouldn't match a 600w HPS by the look of it.

 

I don't mean to burst your bubble kimba - these are certainly some good lights, a dream for the closet grower... but they ain't got shit on HPS.
