Bong diseases

Recommended Posts

the risk of catching Hep C from a bong is extremely low, same as HIV/AIDS. but the risk is still there ...

Sorry guys, I do not believe this to be true. IMHO and that of my HIV specialists there is NO RISK from HIV with bongs, joints etc.

When smokin with others, I often use my own little pipe to avoid contact with pathogens from other people. A simple cold can put my little immune system on its arse for months at a time, something best avoided.

That's why I just ordered a vape. I wanna get high, not sick

people share vaps as well. Possibably the best way to stay disease free is to hotbox in a one man tent :D

It's sad that after so long there is still so much misinformation around, do you know of any sites that can clear up this sort of thing in plain and simple English Brash? If you do you could whack a link into your signature, PM one to me for my sig too if you like. :D

As Brash points out, sharing bongs, joints, vapes, drinks, etc., is a much higher risk to HIV sufferers than it is to others due to their severely damaged immune system, a minor illness to us could be fatal to someone with HIV/AIDs.

:P

hey the best way to use the same bong in a session without offending anyone is get a piece of tissue or toilet paper (toilet paper is best) and put it over the mouth piece and then your mouth over that. not only is it a good filter for the smoke (you catch heaps of brown shit on it) but you just say youve got a cough so youre protecting your lungs or whatever. and i use the term bongitis often, and i use it in context of a bong related cold, usually sticks with someone for awhile because they dont stop smoking. one of my mates has bongitis most of the time, just a bad cough. :P

have a good one peoples
