hello again,

i've got 3 lovely c99,s about 5 weeks into flower. yesterday i noticed that 1 of my babies had had one of it's heads bitten off.

i couldn't work it out. it was caged with good fencing and i hadn't seen a possum in the last 2 years.

i water my plants from a 44 gallon drm.i put the lid back on the drum after each water. last water i must not have put the lid back on properly . upon checking water level about an hour ago, i found mr possum floating in the half full drum of water.

 

i imagine that through the night mr possum must have came down for another nibble, got stoned, got a case of the dry horrors,went for a little drink and fell in the drum.

 

bit sad, but hey. better i drowned possum than no pot for wade.

 

anyone who has ever lost weed to a thieving possum can relate to this.

Haha, hope your water isn't too stinky wade.

 

Once I found a rotted bird in my horses water trough, after the horse was lying down sweating for a few hours! He recovered ok thankfully.

 

Good thing the possum is gone, hope a family of them doesn't move in to take its territory!

Shame, poor bastard was only after a little high and ended up paying the ultimate price! We had Possum problems at our last house but luckily(for us and mr possum) we had planted heaps of tomatos and he preferred to munch on them instead.
