Plain Batter, sweet or savoury

Hey Ppls,

This is great if you got a leftover roast lamb or something. Just cut whatever you want to use up into very small pieces, and throw it into this mix:

Sift 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup of plain and 1/2 cup of self-raising flour into a bowl, add 1 well beaten egg, and 1 cup of milk.

Beat until smooth, and stand for 1 hour, if possible.

Makes nice little fritters........and really, you could use anything, but I usually do it with lamb.
