Also, does anyone know what these markings are on my unidentified echinopsis mother?

Almost looks like a disease to me - should I separate it from the other echinopsis?

not to sound studid or anything but how are all these cacti processed to get what you need out of em. Seen heaps of people growing em. Are the a phycadelic or something similar? Never had any catcti stuff

You can make a tea or do an acid/base extraction on the cacti - not that I would recommend doing such a thing... :yeah:

These are purely for ornamental purposes

Yeah that looks fungal phreak, I would cut off however much you have to to get rid of it.

Ok this will be the last update for a few months....

Time just to wait and see what happens with the cacti. Ive chopped about 3 inchess off the one which had the black mouldy looking thing in it.

the first two are of echinopsis bridgesii - one of the original strain and one of the mutant "monstrosis" strain.

picked up this beauty today for 10 bucks - nice lady also threw in a chewed up but really nice looking plant for my mother

she didnt know the name of it - 75% sure its san pedro or something similar - at least 80cm tall (~2.5 ft )
