Quick run down on my system. 5 plants, Expanded clay (`coz it was the first thing I picked up), Dutch Fest nutes, Flood and drain every 3 hours for 25 mins, 400W HPS with SonT-Agro lamp at 18-6. I keep the PH at about 5.2 - 5.8 with a digital PH meter.

I suggest-

a- Change your system to 24/0 lighting,

b- flood and drain timing is wrong, what you want is 15 mins every 2 hrs.

c- your ph is perfect, but 5.5 is ideal, and ph moving around too much, will cause ph problems.

CF of 22 sounds a little high for seedlings, but your plants will be the best judge of that. Myself I would start them out at a CF of 10 and gradually work my way up. I don't know about that meter but I'm sure its fine, there can't be too much difference between them.

I would also get a digital thermometer that records min and max temps. you are aiming for 24-27 degrees ideally. Can get them pretty cheap at Dick Smiths or similar.

I'd do some research on correct use of ionizers, they can be a health risk.

Everything else sounds fine to me.

Pipe any evidence of this?

I thought that ionizers were ok, but the ozone generators were the ones to be careful with??

I have read that Ionized air was actually heatlh benefits.

My babies are about 14 inches high, and nice and bushy, So I thought that I could jam the nutes into them now.

I suggest-

Consider it done. Thank you.

Damn - I spent $45 on a digital timer when I could of spent $10 on a dial type analogue.

Thank you for your help fellas

I bought a truncheon a few months back, and I cant say I use it, I bought it to check my RO water to see when I need a new filter, and that is really all I use it for, If your already set up and growing well I wouldn't buy one, If I tried to learn to use it to grow buds it would confuse me.

To me if plants are growing well means nute levels are right, I dunno whats right or wrong when it comes to these meters, its just numbers to me.

mate dont worry about money spent on timer

in my experiance with analogues the cheaper they are the more it costs replacing them all the time.when it gets hot or really humid they stop working .can spray inox in them and let them dry .mate my light timer costs 250 but there hasnt been one fuckup with in the 18mths ive had it.

i have cf meter and my first grow using it blew my mind compared to the buds from the crops before hand.

ps that expensive timer runs two lights and two fans so it was needed.used to have 3 anal type.my pump is on a 5dollar timer cause it was the only one of 9 that kept working.it must be a freak.gets very hot in my room in summer.
