RE. flavoured buds

howdy peoples

quick question..

i was just reading the thread on flavouring buds.. all sounds cool and easy enough. it did explain how you flavour with vanilla and fruits etc, but it also mentioned you can flavour with bubblegum.. but didnt metion exactly how.. being a fan of bubblegum i like the sound of that so my question is,

do i just put some hubba bubba or something in the jar while its curing or do i have to do something else to make it work????

this is a novelty thing aye .. flavouring weed

but it doesnt ..

it just gives the weed a scent , it wont change the taste of the smoke it wont taste like bubble gum ...

will it?

but hey, why not save your pennies and buy some bubblegum seeds and you get the fair dinkum bubblegum hubba bubba scent

or so they say

i do reckon if you could cure and dry weed like they do tobacco, the way tobacco drys out to a golden colour, leaving no sign of any green chlorophyl

then you would get a real different tasting smoke a more smoother, milder smoke completely different taste than dried green weed smoke

 

but yea give some flavouring a go, experiment, try something and tell us whats' the go

i did try it once but i dont really remember cause i ended up pigging out so much on the weed i didnt notice much else

funny you should that.. i got some bubble licious seeds from SB a little while back... grew a mummy and her clones are almost ready to go in the main room, so hopefully soon i`ll be able to let you know if it actually does taste like bubblegum..

 

as for the grow drying now, i thought i might try throwin some bubblegum and musk sticks in the jars while its curing..

but yeah i figured it was more about scent than flavour, im guessing youd need to include any flavours in the growth stages to be able to taste it.. banana could be cool..

How about making up a water spray or tea made with vanilla beans and spaying them.

 

Or use bubblegum too make your tea. 2 packs per 200ml of water. Use grandma's false teeth too extract into solution then spray and dry. Not sure if burnt sugar fumes are friendly though...

I tried wantda`s chocolate and vanilla skunk`s but they didnt have much difference at all....im not sure how he did it, i think it was with a few drops of essence......the smell was there but imo it made the smoke a bit harsh/hot....ruined good weed but was worth a try.

 

I like the musk stick`s and bubble gum idea though.....even if it didnt take on the flavor it would sure bump the bag appeal

hey all..

just a quick update on the flavouring thing.. i now have all my buds dry.. i cured some in jars with "doublemint" chewing gum.. you can definately smell and taste it.... i also put some in a jar with musk lifesavers and put some in water and gave the inside of the jars a quick mist before putting the buds in...

the musk is definately the better choice in my opinion.. i love musk so im biased.. as for the mint chewy it was alright but not really my flavour..if you like menthol cigarettes then you`d love it, tastes alot like 1.. but both killed the fresh taste.

so i spose in short, it does work.. both smelled of the chewy or musk, the chewy also left a strong taste of the gum in the bud.. the musk didnt come through as much on the taste side but definately infected the aroma in a good way..

also musk water in the bong gave a nice taste as well.. if your after somthing a little different its worth a try..

I like the water idea. Instead of flavouring the buds i spose you could just use flovoured bong water. Think about that bubblegum, vanilla, orange, lemon, passionfriut, watermelon and so on. More of a chance to get the flavour into the smoke not just the aroma

we used to use op rum for water as kids, it was great for the first few but then the flavour went and just tasted like normal bud.

could always do a rushing bull, redbull billy water...taste nice, gives you sorta a kick aswell.

they sell weed additives on everybodydoesit.com claiming to be bud flavouring, you mix 2 drops into your chop bowl after youve chopped up and apparantly it makes it taste like the flavour...idk i havent tried it, but ive ordered 5 diff flavours to test it so ill keep ya's posted.
