oZONE GENERATORS? useful or crap

HAY GUYS JUST WONDERING IF THOSE OZONE GENERATORS WORK OR NOT???

 

I SAY ONE AT MY LOCAL HYDRO STORE FOR $299 MADE FROM STAILNESS STEEL AND IT HAD THIS BLUE LIGHT AND I SMELT THE OZONE COMING OUT AND IT MADE MY EYES WATER HAHAHAHA

 

DO THAY REALLY ELIMINATE ALL ODOURS??? NO SMELL????

 

CAN ANYONE REPLY WHO ACTUALLY HAS AND OZONE GENERATOR AND TELL ME FROM EXPERIENCE

they work good but it depends on your setup as well,

tell us a bit more,

 

Thing to remember is the ozone created smells and only when in the right amounts does it cancel out the MJ smell,

It is poisionous to your plants as well but small amounts are ok,

Hey drummerlars, typing in all capitals is considered as yelling on the net, I don't use an ozone generator yet but they are also supposed to be effective in controlling mould, another thing you could check out for eliminating smells is a carbon filter on your exhaust.

Stonedas told me this handy tip, cheap method while ago, make a filter with potpurri (you know these dried flowers/lavenders/roses, etc etc?) where the exhaust fan is, as the smell goes out and goes thru the potpurri in some filter bag or something and gives the room more "rosey" smell, he told me this works for small set ups but not large commerical set ups hehe

 

But you might have to replace the dried flowers every month or few weeks. Never tired this.

check out negative ion generators. they are not harmful to plants or animals so you can put them right in your room. they work great for me. and they are reasonably priced.

I've heard that a piece of aluminium foil, attached to a earth cable, can act as a cheapo negative ion gen? Is this true? Also, falling water produces negative ions as well, doesn't it?
