My ongoing dramas with Cyco

Yeah I been using these H&G samples they sent me for the last2weeks, PH sits just under 6 for days, I love it! When I was using the Cyco, I had to adjust every 24hr.

First time I mix up a res I thought it'd be the same as the Cyco and adjusted my PH to 6 before adding and then found out the H&G drops it right down to 4. Cyco dont drop the PH bugger all.

The H&G nute samples are just about out, though I still got heaps of additives left, I'm going to have to change back to the cyco next mix, I hate changing mid-stride but I'm just not financial to be spending 100 on more at present...

shit no offence callaman but sounds to me u use what ever u can get for free. Is it the more they give u the more u like it,ya soundin a bit like a rep thought we were unbiased here thats why I joined. I have tried a number of nuts over the yrs and personally it has more to do with enviroment than food.But hey if ya got free cyco and dont want it send it my way .

Perhaps you should read alittle closer Dark, I got H&G nutes for free (Yeah, I asked for samples, so?) and Cyco replaced what was broken (and sent a heap of additives as a "sorry"), 2 different companies nutes, obtained for different reasons.

I usually use one and tried the other so maybe you should read on, If u think I sound like a rep perhaps you better have a bit more of a look around. Stating how a nutrient performs is hardly advertising... The purpose of the forum is to inform other users of our experiences...

Nutes may not make as much difference as having enough light or air but in a grow where everything else is right a good nutrient makes a hell of a difference over a cheapo one.

I am only new on here but long time follower great informative site. I have used a lot of different nutrients and additives over my, not always successfully yrs of trial and error.

 

Just finished my first run on cyco myself, I followed thier programe in the little book they have my shop gave it to me and I have to say I got about and as an average about 25-30 % yeild increase so I would have to say im happy. Havin said that all my conditions were great this run and no probs with ant dieses or pests so I will try it again as it turned out good really noticed looked healthier. I have also heard that the house and garden is good just the price scares me off a bit. I would like to try it it seems everyone is liking that also just results for price were impressive with cyco so if better with H&G then will try. Anyone out there run a H & G that can tell me if it worth tryin and partin with my cash.

I saw it flatty, he's only been here a couple of days and he's already pissing people off. How can someone say 'no offence.... you sound like a rep'? Of course Im going to be pissed. Funnily enough I used to grow run to waste and I found the opposite of what he is claiming. Maybe it's because I own a EC meter!
