My ongoing dramas with Cyco

Fuck i swear, all you guys who use cyco must have a different batch to what ive got. Or made by someone else.

I cant remember if i ever mentioned it here but When i first started using cyco i had dramas and had to hassle and threat and carry on to all and sundry to get it replaced, after it took3weeks for anyone to even answer me.

Anyway, mixing up a new res this morning, i look in a bottle that hasnt been opened more than 2 weeks... fucking mould floating on the surface.

Ive had a gutful of this, nothing but trouble since day1. Im chucking the fucking lot of it!

Nutrients do expire, can go off in hot/warm temperatures etc.

 

Maybe you did just get a bad batch. But if your having problems, perhaps turf it, and use something else

 

Edit: I've seen a few Hydro shops selling nutes past their expiry.

The only nute I've had problems with is powergro. Needless to say I only used it once.

My local hyd shop had a heap of 20lt dutchmaster (about a pallet) on special. I commented about how it fell of the back of the truck and the reponse was "no, a customer ordered in and whilst awaiting the order felt a bit hot and pulled the pin".

That's a lot of nute............

Go direct to the manufacturer. State your problems and ask them to rectify it, wither it be via the hydro shop or by them.

P.S. never did get samples from them, spose I should check up on that, could be sitting at the hydro shop waiting for me

Yup if it's new and you just opened it and it's full of mould, heck even just floaties of yeast, I"d be jumping up and down at the hydro shop and demanding a replacement on the spot. Failing that the manufacturer should replace it if you call or email them.

Just had a thought, the last nute I had go mouldy was Advanced nutrients 'Revive' an essential element tonic. Rumour has it that the same chemist who did AN now works for Cyco .

Yeah I'd be pissed off as well, but it's best to chill and ask your store to replace it or contact the company itself

 

My hydro shop said that the chemist who made Sensi is the fella behind cyco
