Why did you start smoking?

Just curious what has influenced people over the years, and how those influences have changed...

 

I personally started smoking partly out of boredom and partly because of opportunity, but mostly because my parents did, along with a large portion of the adults in our close friends and family.

in all honestly i use to sell weed when i was alot younger... think i was about 15 at the time.. and it would get ticked to me and the only reason it would get ticked to me was because i never ever smoked it.... but like the cat curiosity got the best of me.... hehehehehe

 

and shortly after i was buying to endolge

curiousity and opportunity finally collided in the right time and place.

 

never felt pressured by anyone to try it really. no more pressured than i've ever felt to go see a particular movie or something anyway

Smoke occasional in my teens cause that what you did were i grew up

Started smoking often Daily cause i had to give up drinking for approx 8yrs.

Had a job which compromised of me being on call 7 days a week, 24hrs a day servicing mines for about, yeah ,8yrs, and was well and truly used as that.

8 years and no drugs test!

Anyone in the mines would i'm sure buy me a beer for that record.

Become a chronic pot smoker though and i think went to far,

Everything now in moderation

Aah well for me it was a mix of Opportunity and Curiosity. A mate was smoking it a lot, and I could not resist. I hvnt seen him for a long time.

 

I have been researching medicinal use, No......really I am serious. I have Crohns disease diagnosed 22 yrs and i have had 6 operations. The drugs (read) medication have not been great, in fact I had a massive reaction to Cortisone (steroids) and seriously thought that I would be in a psychotic state forever. Yeh this is what doctors gave me, and they seriously thought I would keep taking them. Ihave not touched them since and am wary of any prescribed meds

 

If anyone can give advice on best strains to try I would welcome it, as what i have read on it is mixed and not all that clear.

 

I would welcome any ideas, so message away.

First started trying it after several talks with dad and him explaining how nice dope is, just smoked occasionally through teens and eventually got into daily. Took around a 2 year spell of no drugs because I was heavily depressed from eating a few too many biccys. Now I smoke every night mainly to help with insomnia and I doubt my love for it will ever stop.
