Just to let you know, Plunger, I bought myself a new bong yesterday. BongsnThings have it, but I bought it from the Central Markets because I know a guy

It's the one with the hand grip for a chamber.

It's really really nice. Well constructed. And that diffuser that was too long (as you read in one of my threads) fits it perfectly!

It's a beautiful thing, real cheap too.

Yeah fully sucks you cant buy any decent paraphernalia in QLD anymore, my mates GF broke the chamber on my tar catcher bong and I ended up having to Macgyver together a new chamber made from a vitamin bottle because I couldnt buy a new one (worked a treat though!). If I was you plunger Id run with some nice pyrex and something not too harsh, like a mini tar catcher. It'll be a pain in the arse to clean, but it'll be smooth, will stop you from inhaling some tar and you can disassemble it so you can hide it from your parents

If you have a diffuser, don't you also want a tar/ash catcher since the diffuser holes might get clogged?

I thought I might, but it doesn't seem to clog them up at all really. I guess only time will tell...if it gets really clogged/dirty, I guess I'll have no other choice than to buy something like a carbon filter/ash catcher to prevent it from happening, but for now it's running smoothly.

yeah.. if you clean often enough i guess you could avoid the problem
