New laws attack Hydroponic shops

Recommended Posts

Hmm... If the law is introduced the shops will have to supply ballasts,CF's etc direct from the wholesaler/importer via mail order direct to your door lol They will just have to stock the essentials until they are outlawed.

I have heard on the grape vine that several lawyers have been employed to quash the law!

Anyhow as my signature says FUCK MIKE RANN

Peace

The way around this is to get someone you trust who does not grow pot and does not live at your address to buy your gear for you. It may help if they grow some hydroponic vegetables in the backyard or something, like chunknugs said about the tomatoes. I'm growing tomatoes and chilli's in coco at the moment myself. Only problem with this is you have to bring someone else into your endevours, it would be a must that you trust them..

OK .. so here is an opportunity for someone looking for a job and has a squeaky clean record and doesnt use weed ...

he becomes an "agent" where his job is take growers orders purchase the equipment at shop and leave his details ... later he passes on equipment to grower and says nothing ...

police come check him out , but hey, he has broken no law , he cannot be coerced into disclosing who he gave equipment to because nothing illegal has happened!

'agent' collects extra $50 for doing the shopping for the grower who is so happy to pay an extra $50 to stay at home and use an 'agent' to do all his hydro shopping for him, plus the 'agent' would also have access to very good smoko from his friendly growers ...

and with all the growers he can make a handsome tax-free wage from doing nothing wrong

**************************************************

on another note ive heard on the weedvine that whoever grows and sells to the bikie gangs get all there equipment from the bikies at cost price cause the bikies have already large stocks of grow gear which they bring in from interstate unbeknown to authorities ...

suck the fat one you rotten politicians and piglets ...

lol

All the drug dealers will love Mike Rann for doing this. Trust me, I know a few and it won't make it any harder for them to get their hands on hydro gear, all that will happen is prices will go up and they will make 10-20% more than what they are presently making.

Sounds like a half decent job Frazzle as long as your not interested in growing.. Be dangerous though, if anything went wrong you could easily get the blame for it.

Thats what infuriates me about this zip.. Many of the big growers will have the connections in the hydro industry that they will be able to pick up gear late at night when the shops closed, no record of sale and the shop will not put the sales on any of their tax records as they probably already do with some of their "larger customers". Mr Joe Blow average who grows two plants in a cupboard will not have these connections and may find them self in a situation where they have no way of buying equipment without showing I.D. The shop, if its one of the dodgier ones will not give a flying fuck if this guy who doesn't give them much money anyway gets busted, they'll sure look after their big spenders though.

Just to clear this up though, I.D. would only be required for certain items from what the gov says, i'm assuming thats whats already on the "banned items" list which is a farse cos its only banned for "illegal purposes" Play on words as far as I'm concered. These items include HID lamps greater than 250W, ballasts, shades, Carbon filters, heat pads and a bunch of items used for cooking meth. It does not mention nutrients, mediums, pots, tubs, pumps or any of that stuff.

Thats exactly what will happen, bloodshot eyes. Or the mr bigs simply get their mates with no criminal record to set up a hydro store and 'forget' to lock the door at close up. These stupid laws just go to show how out of tune the government is with reality. Their way of solving problems has absolutely no practicability whatsoever and 99% of people can see that these laws won't work. And yet they still have the audacity to think people will see this as doing something positive for the community. The only thing they are doing is making the poor bloke who grows a couple plants have to spend money buying it from a dealer who is selling it for more than the current prices, because he has the contacts to be able to grow it. It is amazing these people are our leaders. They reckon weed is bad and kills the brain, but I'm sure there are people on these forums with more common sense and worthwhile ideas than the stupid pollies.

:D yep, the first thing I thought AS I read the article was, get someone else to buy it for you.

Of course the cops might go to that persons house and see no equipment so then they might follow them etc.

So you would need a person who already grows, before the laws come in, get them to buy the equipment they already have for you.

Also the big guys and setting up own stores would work.

But I bet a large amount of hydro shop owners already have connections with dealers/growers anyway. They won't be needing to show any ID. ^_^

Also you can just purchase equipment off the internet or build you own with separately bought items from bunnings or such.

The thing is this will discourage people from growing hydro veges, which is actually good for our environment because it uses less water. Would you wanna have cops comin' round to check your vege's out every month or whatever they think is 'necessary'?

Wait, bongs are illegal in some states? Which ones? In Vic we can buy them legally. Although I only know of 2 head shops near me and only one sells bongs afaik.
