The colours of the nutes are just food colouring...... or some kind of colouring..... All nutes are just white powder to start off... cept for like boron or something which is brown but they all disolve into the water and it just looks like water.... I think they just put colours in the nutes to make them look like they are worth the money or something....

i use extreme flowering nutes and the local shops made up grow,

all seemed pretty good with my plants in the past,

I too have some SPC clones but i think these are gonna die.

No, I don't think so Mick.... when i was doing my own nute chem there was the chemical i was using for the potasium (I think) and it was little round red balls... had to be heated and crushed up into fine powder to mix with water...

Just thought I'd add my two cents. I use Nulife "Hypergro" nutes, and I've also used the same Manutec Hydroponic Nutrients, (Yeah, they're not bad but a bitch to measure....take it easy on them and use an ec meter to work out what the real concentrations are.), as well as the Dutchmaster Grow, and Canna grow and bloom for my soil growing plants. I've found that the nutes themselves are all pretty much the same, and the only real way to get any further, is to use something like Thumper or another foliar feed. These really help the plant to take off.... Just my opinion.

nutes are definately coloured, I've seen blue, green, red, orange, yellow, brown of what is essentially the same thing. I don't think canna nutes are coloured though.

I know someone else who makes there own nutrients with all top quality powder from iran or iraq and theres just looks like water until they put food colouring in it to make it easyier to tell the difference between them...

 

This dude had a 25kg bag of potassium nitrate which is just a fine white powder....

Don't think so was like 150-200bux for 25kg it was imported from iran or iraq its speically made for hydroponics its top quality shit

I went in to a hydro store today and the bloke said that ozi magic monsta bud will stuff up your tank cause of the grit in it... same with ozi tonic monster tonic whatever... he said there was an alternative but i can't remember what it was... something by yates... he said it did the same thing and it was alot cheaper... less mixing... smaller amounts.. completely soluable... I'll have to go back and get some... I'll let you know..
