ok well here's my 2 cents...... Make some tobacco tea. Take a big pinch of chewing tobacco (or pipe tobacco if you can't find chew) and steep it in a liter of hot water until it's as dark as it will get. Strain it and use the spray. Nicotine is a powerful poison and will provide instant knockdown.

 

You can keep some frozen for these types of emergencies. You have to keep after the plant until you are sure you have gotten all the eggs that hatch.

 

The other organic solutions include rotenone and pyrethrins, in an insecticidal soap.

Luke Skywalker .......A bit of a blast with some water can help too, they come right off.

 

Any oil based spray will work well really, provided you get good coverage and you can avoid hot weather. Eco oil is probably the most superior, followed by neem, pest oil and lastly white oil.

 

Here ya go try this works for me;

White oil recipe

 

Mix together 1 cup (250ml) of cooking oil, 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and 1½ cups (375ml) of water. Dilute this mixture at a rate of 6 teaspoons (30ml) per litre of water for spraying.

 

If you use this white oil on orchids or ferns dilute the spray to 3/4 strength and do not spray when the temperature is above 25°C.

heres what you do

 

collect bout 20 insects in this case 20 aphids

mash dem up ot a small aphid past

put the aphid past in a bottle with 100ml water

shake it

or

blend it

and let it settle overnight at room temp

next day strain and spray your plants

mixed @ 100pt water to 1pt aphid solution

 

warning

never put water on the leaves or flowers in full sun light

this causes the plant to transpire or sweat and lose water

NEVER spray with yah lights on

turn them off and let the bulbs cool to touch

then spray

or

best to spray just before the lights are due to come back on

at dawn or dusk if out side for leaf

strictly dawn for bud sprayz
