I'd suggest you buy a complete drill set. A cheap one will do if you're not using it all the time and it will come in handy

If you use grommets it won't matter so much anyway. I use a 12mm drill bit. But yeah, buy a complete set 'cos you'll need to use 'em all one day anyway.

 

I've tried 2 plant 60ltr tubs and diddn't like the system as much, as the buckets, but I've never seen a SOG type crop with the 100mm Net pots, I imagine it would work. If you mean a huge resevoir the size of your grow, that you would have to make yourself, I think it would be a waste getting rid of all that water & nutes every few weeks. But if you wanna grow a SOG crop it would probably be good.

But I like the buckets, cos if your growing seeds, you don't have to deal with tangled roots, when you pull the males.

the only reason I ask is that a lot of the bubbler setups at overgrow, particularly the ones for small cabinet grows like mine seem to have one big rubbermaid bubbler res. with 2 or 4 net pots in the lid.

 

Something to think about anyway...
