hey billo, yeh i bought tha 150mm centr sounded like jet engine so i took it back and got tha 125mm and with the diff got tha rhizo small bottle......

yeh better 2 use good stuff, i didnt buy that much just sensiAB, rhizo, superthrive and overdrive for flower.

this my 1st try at this so hope all goes ok, well soon find out, oh and bought a fluro light kit 2 bulbs, refl, light holder for $130 for early veg or a mum.

Tha 150mm woulda cleared the room in a minute or so but tha 125mm will clear it under3 min i think and MUCH quiter so i went with that and its only 40 watts.

Im using autopots system gravity fed 25cm pots.....when tha seeds sprout can i put in straight into those pots with perlite or shud i putem in small rockwool cubes instead???

oh and ive got a 35 ltr res tank, im gonna do 10lts ata time to see how fast they drink and control it a bit better in case have 2 change stuff etc, but i dont have anything 2 heat tha tank or pump stir it, does this matter???? Im not gonna put tha tank in the grow tent as ive read can have algea and stuff, but the water in autopots isnt recycled in doesnt come back into the tank so shud keep ph and nutes pretty much

even which is good.

When i start off seeds that will going into a hydro setup, i will soak em and when they crack put em rock wool.

With putting them strait into the perlite wile the root system is getting going imo there isent much to hold the seedling up strait as the perlite is pretty loose and will take a bit for the roots to get a hold.

Useing the rock wool imo u have a stable platform for the seed to grow with out chance of falling over and another number of things that could happen, like washing the just cracked seed to the bottom of the pot when watering as it has nothing to keep it in place.

But then againe i could be wrong as well...

Now the temps are getting warmer imo u dont need a heater for ya rez.

I would go and get a small air pump and air stone and have that running in the rez that will help keep the oxygen in the water and keep it mixed...

i guess the rockwool will just be damp cause prop dome has holes at the bottom of the tray, but damn 400watt might be alotta light for seeds starting no??? I got a 100watt fluro 6400k spectrum on the way hope it gets here before they pop out in the glass of water.

Oh and i ran my light and fan for an hour or so without osc fan cause dont have 1 yet and it was 28.5C or so is that really bad and will osc fan cool it down alittle??? 4-5C less would be good. The didgtal therm said in

28.5c and out 25c whatever out is( reading taken from mid tent (temp outside was abut 24c).
