Tom's absolutely right..... hydro shops are not in business to bust their customers. Don't insult your hydro guy by speaking about mull. He's not stupid.

Just keep the speak general - I'm after a heating mat for some cuttings, I was interested in a bloom additive, etc. And the majority of nutrients in hydro shops are designed for pot. On the other hand, if you keep it vague and friendly, your hydro guy can become a loyal friend you can go running to screaming "I've got mites!!"

and he'll know what to do. My guy gives me stuff he's thinking of selling now to try out and report back. So here's to you, Mr hydro gear selling guy.....you with your bloom busters and fans that go ssshhhhhhh.....you, the great Australian Hero.
