Thanks for the tips guys,

 

Yeah I notced the 400watts gets very hot so i am going to pick up 2 exhausts and a desk fan.. Will see what else they have.

 

The box is out in the gaurage so sound isn't a problem at all.

 

Drainage I shall use 3 pots & saucers, If there is excess i shall think about working something else out.

 

( I have a wtaer pump out in the shed, Could work on a drip system maybe soon... But number one priority is cooling)

 

There is a fair amount of hieght i have to work with.

I use 300mm pots in individual saucers and don't have a problem. The little bit of water that sits in the saucers after each watering evaporates within a day.

Sometimes I dont like the water sitting in the saucers/drain trays (I use Cat Litter Trays, more room and shit like that, only cost $1 from crazy clark's) When I water them, specially when just using just water to flush them out I leave the water in the trays for 5 mins just in case the soil/roots wants to absorb bit more water then I empty the water straight away, sometimes it feels like the grow area increase the humidity bit too high if the water was left in the trays all day, specially in warmer seasons of the year, since I am in QLD.

 

Its just my personal preference. Its just couple of years ago, I grew and left the water in the trays it got pretty humid in the grow area, and the plants got pretty skinny as if they were try to "cool themselves out" and ever since I emptied the water trays, never had that problem the plants have been nice'n'bushy ever since.

Update

 

Box: The box is now near complete, Today i added a 250mm Exhaust Fan and Front padlock.

 

Seeds: The seeds have been sitting in a tub of ware container for the last hmm 16 hours, Not sign of any tap roots.

UPDATE

 

HELP 911 !!!

 

Well this afternoon i was out swimming and having a session in my pool, When It came to my head that 2 weeks before my mate and 1 had planted some seeds i got from amterdame in a few coke bottles.

 

(Not germinated just threw them in, Didnt really know much about growing then.... Learnt alot in 2 weeks)

 

I thought to myself i should go chuck them in the bin, So off i went to get them when low and behold i found me a little green head poping out to say hello.

 

So then i went into DR ABC Mode.

 

1. I took the coke bottle and tried to get the dirt out together but it fell out and so did the plant so i carefully took it and replanted it into a small pot with straight cocopeat in it..

 

After this i watered it with some tap water and 1/4 strength nutes.

 

Then i thought to myself its gonna be in some big ass shock so i tried to consider it as if it was a clone.

 

So i got myself a apple juice container and choped it in half and decided to make a little clone dome..

 

Until you guys could give me some tips with what to do with it.

 

Its currently sitting in my cuboard at 30'c which is a little high but i cant do much about tht right now..

 

I'm gonan leave the light on tonight so it can get some light..

 

IF im doing things the wrong way please tell me as i dont want to let this young white widow die.

Cancel the nutes at this stage.

It'll do the job, let the plant breathe every now and again though and keep the 400w around 3 - 4 feet above it.

Hey all, Hows Things?

 

Update

 

Little Ivy hasn't showed many signs of growth but she has only been sprouted out for 2 days....

 

The two other baggy seeds that germinated are sitting in there cocopeat and i hope to see some sprouts in the next few days.
