"Mango buds" here in Oz in mid 90s

Recommended Posts

In the mid 90s i was lucky enough to get an oz of "mango buds", which to this day remains one of the sweetest smokes i've ever had, and the bag appeal was second to none. They were here in WA, dunno about other states tho, or where they were grown. I got it from a guy who used to get regular pounds so I'm assuming there was a fair bit of it going around at the time.

I dont suppose anybody might happen to know which strain it mightve been?

G'day NotDave ,

I pretty much grew up smokin Mango ... There was shitloads everywhere ...

No idea what genetics are involved or from where .. but If I were to have an educated guess .. I would guess the strain was imported from Thailand or maybe India , but surely t'was from some other Asian country because I would highly doubt It would be a native to this country ..

:peace:

And as for what strain it is ..

Well , That's what it is .. Mango .. and It is a Sativa dominant (if not pure) strain to be sure .. Easily recognized by It's unmistakable Mango Aroma :peace:

Just like the rest of the "strains" available it procured a name aswell , what I like is that It lives up to It's name so well , mmm mmm , very nice smoko :toke:

I'm no "expert" But I certainly enjoyed Smoking/growing the Mango Sativas as a youngin :toke:
