Im a member of a site, that is for Bikers in Australia.

On the boards we have some pigs and some fuckwits.

 

Anyways this pig Rocky is trying to tell everyone that Cannabis causes mental illness.

 

So whos up for a bit of fun?

What a load of bullshit that is heh.

 

Weed causing mental illnesses is crap. You have to have something wrong mentally in the first place. The weed just allows it to come out in some people. It doesnt give a normal sane (whatsever that is) person mental illnesses. Theres been just as many tests done that proove it doesnt.

The old cause or trigger arguement is long dead and buried, I think you to get up to date with the education. All the medical professionals now agree that it is in fact a cause of mental illness and is not just a trigger to a pre existing mental disorder.

 

The THC has now been proven to severly and permanently change brain chemistry, the higher the THC level and/or prolonged use the higher the risk of mental illness.

 

I am with Doc work in the health or emergency service field and then see whether you believe it is a harmless drug.

I work in the Psych system and 54% of patients in public wards are drug induced psychosis or drugs have a major bearing ( underlying schiz) etc etc

Regardless of what the Pro- legalise want and how they go about it , it still comes back to the same thing ...........It causes and exaserbates pyschiatric illnesses.

 

If you believe this bullshit that drugs dont have a bearing or serious effect on mental illness, then feel free to come to work with me when I am working acute psych and working in (high dependancy) Lock up , they are violent , aggressive paranoid ++++ , responding to visual and auditory halucinations.

After spending a day in HD with me you will see the real effect that drugs have on people.

 

Personally if people use it in moderation , then you will find there is little hassles, but how many people do you find that can do things in moderation ( ie drink, drugs,smoke etc )

I dont want it legilised as then my son could do it and it would be lawfull.

I have told my 3 boys , I catch him takeing ANY drugs that will be the end of them.

all the latest scientific studdies are saying that across de board from heart attack to MS to mental illness

When one suffers an attack all those with cannabis in their blood recovered quicker and with more facalities in tact

When I was in the funny farm(I had been handcuffed and taken their as a consequence of my manic state)they forced me to take lots of drugs..antipsychotics..

and THC is an proven antipsychotic exactly the same as funny farm antipsychotics except for 1 thing the side effects are euphoric instead of horrific

and

assuming you are in a sound state of mind, whatever that is

Cannabis helps my depression more than my pills.

Nutrition plays a huge part in my bodys chemical balance which greatly affects my mood.

Diets make me quite ill.

Although it can be argued that most Americans and Canadians are mental patients...

both countries do use cannabis as medicine.

yes....i have found that to be true for me also...the foods i eat have a large effect on my mental state...

 

i also self medicate my 'clinical depression' with physical exercise(walking 20mins or more)..as well as sunbathing.. S.A.D. or Seasonal Affective Disorder..also known as the 'winter blues' is basically a depressive state caused by a lack of sunlight...weird but true...people in the land of the midnight sun which has 6 months of winter per year actually walk around with little lights attached to their head to help combat the negative emotional effect of a lack of sunlight...(or so ive read)

 

..however..when im really really depressed..i cant be fucked doing anything...feel real hopeless about life...suicidal..etc...i cant be fucked walking or sunbathing..or even getting out of bed..then is a time i NEED cannabis..with it..i have a semblance of a normal life.....a lot of the time im not depressed...sometimes i dont smoke for months...eg. i havent had a cone for the last 2 months...

.that was a quote i just got from google ..but mental illness or mental disease is a lack of ease (dis-ease)....so in one way we are all mentally ill...(i just called you a crazy insane lunatic!!!)...

 

....did you know that antidepressants that are prescribed by doctors actually cause an increased tendency towards suicidal thoughts..?..esp in young people....and since manic-depressives(bi-polar) already have a very high suicide rate...theres just no fucking way i would take them..i have more than enough suicidal thoughtforms floating through my head when im on a real bad 'downer'....

 

...anyway..all pain sux..whether it be physical or mental..no one likes it...not even a masochist(they just have different definitions of pain/pleasure than the rest of us)
