Another few ways to speed it up is as follows

 

1) in front of an air conditioner but a fair way away as the air conditioner rips the moisture out of the air before blowing onto the buds and this seems to slowly dry but still 48hrs+

 

2) use the slight radiant from a slow low source I have found some sort of grill tray above my monitor works great to dry but this is 56hrs+

 

Both of these sux as far as quality but then when you grow your own you do often run out before they are dried normally and the need is there.

The chloropyll has to breaK down , to get rid of the harshness when smoking.

Yeh , curing bud is similar to the aging of wine .. but not exactly the same ..

Still .. basically the eventual smoko will improve in most aspects

Once youv'e compared your freshly dried bud with your well cured bud tho , you will understand why it is the common method for personal growers.

Taste , texture , flavour and potency are all usually slightly improved if done properly .. and thats not hard to do ..
