yeah mate , they woukld need a week or 2 depending on ambient room temperature , the buds will be dry to the touch , but damp inside , you should store em in paper bags for a week or so , giving them a shake every day , obviously in a well ventilated dark area , then when they feel dry and the stem's snap instead of bending , drop em in glass jars/tupperware coontainers , open the lids for 10 mins a day for say 2 weeks and they will smell smoke and teaste so much better , eespecially after a month of cure in the jars/tupperware , that is if ya cant wait that long ?

Yes , Good advice from Lucian ...

If you need a smoke the day you cut , then you have to essentailly "Force-Dry" it ...

This definatley changes (Usually ruins) the flavour of the Bud , and may also effect the potency ...

There are quite a few methods to Force-Dry MJ ... (There is probly a thread on It somewhere) ...

But generally , the slower you dry It .. The better It will be ...

Then If cured after properly dried , similar to what was suggested , Even better again ...

So .. Even if you can Dry and cure the majority of It after initial sample smoko ... and just take bits as you need It .. Then the last stuff (If all goes well) Should be the better smoko :)

Hope that made sense ... Enjoy :peace:

it was once suggested to me , to get a small heater and thermostat , set to 24 Degrees C , then get a small fan blowing across the floor , not directly on the buds , this method can dry buds in 2 days(48 Hours).......but it wasnt till 2-3 weeks later the grass smell was gone , as the chloropyll has to breaK down , to get rid of the harshness when smoking.

Marijuana has to be slowly dried, taking 2 to 3 weeks. It's not always possible because of summer ambient temps but even more important is curing.Properly cured bud will not have any egdeiness to it.

The reason for this is that when dried, internal chemical processes are still going on. :peace:

It's called de-carboxylation and if you compare 2 genetically identical batches of weed, one cured, the other just dried you won't be surprised at the difference as you'll be shocked that it could be so different.Pleasantly shocked mind you! :peace:

Far far more euphoric with no edge to it. :peace:
