Plants need nitrogen!

Recommended Posts

Well my plants are about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks into flowering. Seemed like they were doing fine but the soil test kit said my nitrogen was depleted :applause: . Definitly why older fan leaves were starting to yellow. Just wondering if i can give it some blood meal 12-0-0 and thatll straigten it up. Also wondering if i should give Schultz Bloom plus a shot. Seems like phosphate is too high in it 10-54-10. How does having the correct amount of N-P-K affect yeild and potency? Looking for any responses.

the NPK rratios are most important... too much of one will then effect the others.. I would say the bllom thing has to much Phosphate . and might creat an imbalance...

Plants use nitrogen the most and if the bottom leaves are yellowing just add some nitrogen ferts... osmocote is a good slow release high in nitrogen... If youre not sure on which sort of ferst to use , get something that is suited for roses...

this blood meal i have is for roses and since someone told me 20-20-10 is about the correct amount for flowering stage i figure this 12-0-0 should boost the nitrogen but not too much at once. Also about how long is the flowering cycle, i know it varies for each strain and how its grown but is 1.5 - 2 months about right?
