What I'm considering...

Hey All ,

Like all the Guyz have said ... commercial growboxes are always overpriced and rarely do the job aswell as you'd want.

Cupboards or wardobes work great with a little reconfiguration , and You can get them for next to nothing or Free fairly easy.

Then you just need a few more things like the Light , Pots , Medium , Nutrients and something to line the inside of the Box with that reflects light.

It's much better value and will be so much more profficient at doing what you want from it.

Alternatively , To make a box out of wood or whatever would have to be one of the easiest things you could ever build.

Just think about It logically and Keep It Simple Stupid :toke:

Actually , There are probly plans here somewhere at Ozstoners , But I'd just make my own plans , To easy Imo.

So ... There you go ...

Bye 4 Now

Budman :peace:

:peace:

(P.s. I'm gonna draw up a Budmans Box when I get the time , or when I get bored of whatever it is I'm doing.) :toke:

Hey man my local Hydro shop has prefabbed grow rooms in shop so im not sure what they cost but they are garrenteed to give you yield or you hassle the staff!!! They also look very clean and well figured out.

They all look a bit flimsy but generally you could clad them with 5mm ply to sturdy them up a bit.

Pay with cash no names etc etc ... and your fine with them.

At least with a shop you can yell at someone that cant run away if it SUXS !!

Hi cheeba :peace:

I remember seeing those things years ago and drooling, they look good, but Ive never met anyone who has one.............

This tells me a couple of things.

1: you can do it just as good, if not better for less money

2: I rekon they sell them to people who dont know anything about growing hydro, are too scared or parranoid/embarassed to walk into a hydro shop and ask questions and when they fail, they get put away and forgotten. ( mind you, there were no hydro shops back when I first saw them in some magazine)

Do yourself a favour, as Molly would say...

and pay a visit to a couple of Hydro shops and tell them what you want to do and ask for a quote on the stuff you need. And as others have said, an old wardrobe or some plywood is more than sufficient for the box. It doesnt have to look shiny and space~aged to work, in fact , the less conspiuous the better.

And ask as many questions here as you need.
