sounds like they needed abit more drying time jag and in the first month of curing did you open ya jar and let the buds air for abit a few hours at i time i do and works well i would also try and maybe use one of those moisture bag thingies that ye get in shoe's and shit that will keep ya moisture down to a minimum

Obviously , you would take the really mouldy bits off em' before you smoked em' ...

But a little bit of mould won't do shit , I've smoked many different buds over the years that have had a bit of mould on them , I've never been affected badly , and definatley never had a lung infection from smoking.

I would say the risk is very very minimal , unless your a type of Wendall guy (I.e. always sick nerd kid on the Simpsons).

Well thats just my opinion , and Its correct for me and others I know. I've been told for years that a bit of mould is harmless ... Its just a bit harsh If there is heaps of mould.

Just wanted to add that before everyone starts throwing out their buds.

I had a little mould on 1 plant this year , I just roughly pulled off the affected bits dried it , bagged it , Its fine , you can see a few tiny affected bits , but any MJ smoker would smokem' except maybe the fussiest "elite".

yeah you are right IMO budman and mould spores are nothing we don't breath in from other sources from time to time anyway. it was just a warning for those that may not realise it can be real bad for your health.

 

niall is right on the hash just do some research on how to correctly process mouldy bud through your hash bags otherewise you will have mould in your hash. The process itself does not filter the mould out. mouldy bud is also fine for making butane honey oil.
