Ice filtration

Hello all

 

hey i was thinking what if you had a bong with no water, just lots of ice cubes, stacked right up to the top

 

would that filter the smoke?

 

 

I've also heard about rice filtering in bongs?

Have you not smoked a dry bong? Stacking a billy full of ice would cool the smoke but it would probably let ash through until some of the ice melted.

 

Rice bongs? Dry or damp rice? IMHO if you used dry rice inhaling the dust would be very bad for you and i am sure you would probably get a few rice grains in your lungs too. Sounds a bit dodgy to me.

Is this in case you get stuck in Antarctica and run out of water, but still have some pot?

 

I seriously can't work out one practical application where you will have ice instead of water available to you. Wait 5 friggin minutes even.

I'll admit treestump, it's a novel idea but i am not going to try smoking through rice. If you want to try something good, try water from the fridge in your bong.

Mate I dont know what these guys are on about, sorry fellas... maybe you should try what he is saying.... I have and it works excellently..

how ever just putting the ice cubes in isnt the go... crush them.. and fill...

 

man you guys need to speak to canadians.. they pack bongs with snow.. and they reckon it rocks...

 

but crush the ice, then as it slowly melts.. the water will form in the bottom.

the BEST way to choof in my opinion... but not always practical....

oh and if using a bong with the rubber stopper on the bottom the bong will leak..not a lot but a little, some thing about frozen rubber.. an all glass bong will work wikid...

 

its best for smoking hash I reckon and it gives an awesome clean flavour...

yeah crushed iced now that sounds like the go, but how do I crush it?

best way to smoke a bong is to use cold water from the fridge with some ice in the stem leading upto your mouth :smoke

 

but if you dont have a dont that can hold ice in the stem, ice water works nearly as good :smoke
