Vapir One

Hi Team, I am about to blow my cash on a Vapir One. I think I have read everything there is to read, and I do plan to tape it up, but.... I guess there is some nagging doubt in my gut!

 

I have no vaped before so do not want to pat $1000 for a volcano.

 

And words of wisdom before I do my dough?

Go for it! It's probably been half a year since I bought mine and I don't regret it whatsoever. I'll be glad to answer any questions you might have after you start using it. Personally, I feel I've gotten every penny's worth so far.

Hey thats good to hear Cold, would you say it doesnt have any downsides , how often do you use it?

I generally use mine about 4 - 7 times a day, every day. The downsides are that the unit leaks and the balloons that come with the inflation kit are too small and bulky in my opinion, which is the reason I taped mine up and modified an oven bag to replace the original balloon. Well, I emailed Freewheelin today and ordered it! I assume I will get it next week! I will tape it up, mod the bag and then give you guys a report!

I asked Freewheelin for a v3 because that is what I read coldfixxion has. This is the response:

 

"There are only v2.0 in Australia until their Australian agent

gets their next shipment. We have no firm time line at this stage.

 

The difference is v3.0 has an o-ring under the top cap that v2.0

doesn't, & a reduction pre-heat time, v2.0 pre-heats heats in 20 to 40

seconds."

 

Arrghhhh....I hate all these complications!

If you are going to tape it up, the 'o' ring won't make a scrap of difference, and the quicker heat time, you might save 10 seconds maybe, I always let mine warm up far a couple minutes anyway make sure all the ceramic bits are up to heat.
