Based upon hearsay I’ll be 44 years old this year. I was born in an elderly suburb of Sydney a few days before the death of Dr. Stephen Ward officially concluded the "Profumo Affair" and a few weeks before the Beatles landed in Australia. I started smoking the Holy Grass of the Arabs in or about 1984, maybe earlier. This was at a time when the Oil Tankers were still unloading into Australia what I was told and believe was Lebanese Hash. There was a lot of seeded stuff around and the more occasional, sinsemella. At that time life was pretty cool. I was heating and eating hash.

 

Sometimes I look back with intensity. And I wonder. I was heavily stressed. At least that’s how I remember it. Vodka from the freezer and Dunhill International Red. And lots of coffee. High times indeed.
