new and improved bong design

I mate and I came up with feature 15 yrs ago, been sitting on it ever since , so sorry bro (dont think you'll see this, but you'll know who I am if ya do) but the secrets going out, should really patent it and make $$$$ but what the hell, I'm a stoner

 

Take the standard bong design, in all its variations, be it a gripper or a layback or a 5 chamber, they all have one fault, it is difficult to clear stale smoke from the main chamber, blowing down the mouthpiece or in the shoty only partially clears it, and blowing down the stem can by a messy, smelly mistake .

So we came up with this

A piece of 5 or 6 mm hose (have used 4mm but was a bit thin) through the shoty running down to just above water level, so that when you blow into it the air clear from water level up so simple yet so effective

I usually build my home made bongs out of glass juice bottles with 40mm hose over the top and a bought stem/cone, suites this design perfectly (you can buy em the same from bong shops for about $18 a pop without the shoty mod).

i think thats a bloody brilliant idea might be a little hard to clean or replace, but thats such a simple and effective design im suprised it hasnt been made before. you should be very proud of yourself and if you ever make them professionally i'll buy one for sure
