High all, just wondering how much roughly it would cost to run a 400 watt light for 12 to 15 houres a day? The location of the light is melbourne and i can ste the timer to run the houres at any period (off peak times). Any ideas? Would be really appreciated.

I'm prepping my very first scrog cupboard. I'm having some problems getting an inlet fan..I want a small one...about four inches...I've tried the local grow shop and such but no go...does anyone know where I could get what I'm looking for? thanks =^.^=

This is a very simple job and will allow any cheap timer to switch up to 10 amps of current without the degradation of the contacts due to the transformer ballast. hey.. I have some lights.. their made for growing, I jsut set them up... yet I'm not sure they'll produce enough lighting for my soon to be white widow babies... heres a photo of them.. their 65 W each... oh.. btw. I'm a cheap Ba**trd when it comes to anything but seeds... can anyone help me withthis? oh their pretty hot too.. what do I do abotu that...

Hi all, Just been over a friends house who is right into marine reef fish tanks and he has 4 x 4' VHO fluro lights running off a special ballest. Each fluro if rated at 110w for a total of 440watts. Would be great to try one of those for a grow! The brand of ballest was "ice cap" and he got them frow america over the internet, direct from there website - they wiring them 240v for ozzie use. Jack

Guys (and gals) I need your help. During a recent house move a timer malfunction caused mother to flower. I quickly took new clones ,and as suggested here, put them under 24 hr light until they kicked on. They are ready to come out of the clone box, but when put into the grow box will the 18 hrs. I normally grow at turn them? Need some advice soon. Bazza 7 n.b. have let mother go on her way and she is producing some very handy buds so it hasn't been a total disaster. :thumbsup

Yea hey guys, just cleaning up mah garage found a old like industrial light with a metal grill over the face its a SuperLux FH1-150 Rated 230-240 V, could this be of any use as a veg lamp? or even a povo bud lamp? any help appeciated soz 4 no pics :whistling

hello everyone ive been workin on a little grow box to get my seedlings start in and for mabye some clones later on down the track i was wondering if a 4cm 12 volt DC rotary brushless fan with ball bearing would be alright for ventilation? any help would be greatly appreciated cheers

Hi, I have one 400w sunmaster kit in my grow room at the moment.. currently its over six plants 1ft tall, few days into flower.. Im pushing about 200wpsqft at the moment.. and Id like to keep light intensity at around 100wpsqft if I can. Either: I can buy a 400w kit and have 2x 400w's.. or sell my 400w and buy a 600w, or a 1kW. Now, I dont mind paying the bill for the 1kW, but would 2x 400w's do just as good? Or just get a 600w? My grow area is currently 6' x 6'.. but I am only really working with 2' x 1.5' at the moment, but will need to make it bigger soon. I find the 400w is good for 3' x 3' maybe.. but light intensity of the 400w is crap. Im on a budget here, so I…

well I'm building a 8x8 "storage shed". the roof is gabral, like a barn. I will be using a 750 Watt light by SunSystem. double door. i have a good size fan, that can move for different angles. The building will be in the sun all day. around here during the winter we usally get snow. During the summer, normal 90's, lately 110"2. gots me two 400 wtt hps one 1100 x 1100 try (flood and drain) Should i hang them both over ten or so plants or should i create a different section see the shed i use is not sealed, but i have basically sealed the tray in with panda plastic, exept for a 1meter by 1meter hole for me and the stand fan................ what is the best way to utilize the lights here??? please help?? thanks mr. novice
