While hunting through the net the other nite I came across an Abstract from the Australian Journal of Plant Physiology. Cannabis sativa were assessed for their usefulness to trace seized Cannabis leaves to the country of origin and to source crops by determing how isotopes signatures relate to plant growth conditions. The CSIRO wanted $18.00 for the full text. No way was I going to pay them so I contacted one of the authors and kindly ask for a copy, which she sent without haste. I refuse to go into detail on this but will send a copy to Ozstoners. One part really opened my eyes and I quote.

Dutch Master seem to be wanting to take legal action against people defaming their product..... By the looks of it SB should be about 20$ not 180$ Note also the main chemical is used in primarily in stonefruit crops....IM assuming because any harmful byproducts get stored in the seeds..not in the fruit...

Do you guys know about MAPinc.org? They archive illicit drug articles and letters from newspapers all over the world, it's an amazing resource and a great way to keep up to date with the news. Unfortunately there's hardly anyone newshawking in Australia. boulder has posted a few articles here in the last few weeks (and many more I'm assuming), but if they were all posted to MAPinc.org then the whole world could be reading them and learning. MAPinc syndicates their news via XML feeds to all of the major cannabis/drug websites, and they're all sent out by mailing list to subscribers. Articles and letters inspire even more letters, particularly from overseas when they …

A strange aspect of the mull culture is that a freind of mine whom has been buying about $100 a fortnight for pain cause by the myriad of diseases brought on by AIDS does not want to risk placing some plants inside under lights. I was amazed as I had offered to supply the lights and seed stock for free. The reason being is that she considers cultivation so illegal so refuses to risk it EVEN THOUGH she has less than five years to live. I have argued with her that with her disease she would be more than justified in growing it inside and wouldn't attrack any flak from the system. How do I convince the masses of mullers that indoor crops are not so bad? Hydro DOES NOT affect…

By Duncan Macfarlane 17oct03 SIX RAAF servicemen have been placed on probation after admitting to possessing and using drugs at the Amberley airforce base in Queensland. The details were confirmed last night by the head of the Amberley Air Defence Wing, Air Commodore Stewart Cameron, who said investigations were over. He said he did not know whether drug abuse at Amberley was linked to police raids at other military bases in Queensland and the Northern Territory. The airmen had not been sacked under the Australian Defence Force's zero tolerance drugs policy because they had come forward during the internal investigation, he said. "We had some people step forw…

Drug farmer jailed By SCOTT MACLEAN Wednesday, 15 October 2003 A SOUTH WEST farmer has been sent to jail for growing cannabis crops on his property. Nigel Ricky Love (28) was charged in May after police discovered more than 40 kilograms of cannabis on his farm. The crop included 22kgs of head material, more than 200 times the trafficable quantity by law. Bunbury Police acting Sergeant Gerard Murphy said some of the drugs could have ended up on the streets of Bunbury. "It was grown in the South West so there is a distinct possibility it could have been sold in the South West," he said. "It is always good to get that amount of cannabis off the streets. "Drugs …
