Brendan Roberts June 02, 2009 07:59am http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,2...722-661,00.html © Herald and Weekly Times. POLICE got more than they bargained for while trying to serve a court order at an address in Reservoir. On arriving at the Lindenow St home, the officers were given permission to enter the property where they stumbled across a hydroponic set up and a large number of cannabis plants. The man who let the officers inside then fled on foot, closely followed by his two stunned guests. Despite efforts by the police and dog squad, the fleet-footed offender escaped and is still at large. If he does return, it will be to an empty house. Po…

1st June 2009 http://www.gladstoneobserver.com.au/story/...owing-cannabis/ © APN News & Media Ltd 2008 ALAN Davidson grew 181 cannabis plants to ease his back pain. That's the reason his solicitor gave to Rockhampton's Supreme Court on Tuesday. Barrister Dave Murray said Davidson didn't have the knowledge or sophistication to pull off a commercial drug operation. The 38-year-old, whose partner and two young children were present in court, pleaded guilty to production and possession of dangerous drugs. Davidson was raided by Gladstone police on September 19, 2007 on his Rosedale property, near Agnes Water. Crown prosecutor Noel Needham said police foun…

When we were charged over 2 years ago, the real estate property manager vindictively put us on the Tenants database as having used the property for criminal purpose. We are now not able to rent another property, because of this issue, we have called the tenants union, fair trade, Minister for Housing, Community Legal, Fitzroy legal centre, The Supreme Court - need to call them back to talk to the registrar. So far we are being duck shoved from one group to another, with absolutely no forward movement. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what now? Does anyone have a house in Melbourne we could rent even for a few months? Guys we really are in serious trouble, …

http://www.smh.com.au/world/new-zealand-si...2d.html?page=-1 Looks like the guy came home to find the fuzz snooping around his house for 'evidence of cannabis' (I wonder who they served the search warrant on?) and he lost it. Killed one and injured two and now he's holed up while keeping the cops at bay. 5 bux some prick turns this into a 'weed makes you a homicidal maniac' issue.

hey guys MORE than 150 drug seizures by police at the weekend's 17th annual MardiGrass event proved many visitors once again tried leaving Nimbin with a bit extra in their bags. Sniffer dogs based at a 'drug bus' outside Goolmangar Hall on the road to Nimbin helped proceedings, while in town four mounted police covered the event itself. Duty officer, Inspector Nicole Bruce, said the number of drug busts seemed to be down from last year but there was still the same number of incidents. The crowds were generall…
