I've been involved with hydroponics growing for many years and have used expanded clay as a medium. It has worked well but I just recently discovered a new product when I was using an Internet search enginen for research. The product is called HIGROMITE. I was very interested in it because it's organic and high in silica. After purchasing the product I was completely amazed by the results. My plants grew faster, healthier, and the yields were much larger than when I used expanded clay. It changed everything and I just wanted to share this information with my fellow growers. Check it out @ www.higromite.com. Happy Growing!

here is a good artice on homemade fish emulsion:- homemade Fish/Seaweed Emulsion By Pepperpot WHY FISH AND SEAWEED PRODUCTS? As you may know fish emulsion, fish meal, seaweed/kelp meal, and liquid seaweed/kelp are some of the most powerful natural fertilizers and soil amendments in the world. NOTE: For those organic gardeners who prefer vegetarian soil amendments, you can skip the fishy ingredients, it's not necessary. There is plenty of NPK in alfalfa meal and other grains that you can use. Most commercial fish emulsions are rated NPK = 5-1-1. Most commercial liquid seaweed sprays are rated NPK = 0-0-1. hey peoples, I was after a bit of feed back on headrushes " blend #7 " , who has used it , was it worth it ect I have heard one or two people say they live buy it now .... I have been considering it a while but don't wanna waste money atm if it's not gonna make a significant difference ( this grow has been a pain in the ass money wise after my "runn-in " ) also to those of you that have used headrush nutrients wouldn't mind your opinions on them too as I may run them in my next grow
