Hello all, Firstly what a killer site #1 it is aussie and 2 there are real people wanting to help a beginner. Got 2 young plants one from clone (outside plant) and one other from seedling, bit of a struggle getting the clone to root well but now is cranked up. both were started in organic veg concentrate mixed with surrounding soil. now comes the questions how much am i fertilizing these gals ?? started using seasol and powerfeed got some thrive to use too but am a bit weary of it, at the mo its every 2 weeks as suggested on seasol instructions. Hoping for 6 footers and hopefully different strains i have no idea about the seedling. The clone is red devil. One more …

Soil can range from rock hard clay to a dirty beach unfit for a mud crab, prep your soil right and the need for over rated weekly nutrients wont be needed..the key here is to prep the soil long before your greens go in : Improving your soil Dynamic lifter-supplies macronutrients which are nitrogen, potassium and phoshate these are required in small amounts. Strains which require high doses of fertilizer. All Indicas with the possible exception of "Hindu Kush" More fertilizer means using the high end of the recommended dosage, not exceeding it. Strains which require medium doses of fertilizer. Skunk#1, Tracnce, Vodoo, Bluberry, Durban Poison, Skunk Passion, Super Haze, Ultra Skunk, Orange Bud, White Widow, Power Plant, Euforia. Strains which require low doses of fertilizer All Sativa hybrids. With a heavy Indica dominant pattern. Taken from the Growers Bible by Jorge Cervantes While I do not take this as gospel (excuse the pun) it gives one a good idea on nutrient doses.

just got a new system up and running as the one i have going is running well and i am feeling a bit better about the whole indoor thing.I have used clay balls and did not realize that they would be so persistant in pushing my ph up.Is this just a case of persisting with ph adjusting until it finally stabilizes.Should have done this before putting plants in but didnt know until too late.

I recently purchased an expensive quality (supposedly) PH stick. PH2 ecotester by EUTECH (OAKTON). I have the problem of it climbing in ph rapidly from 7 to 10 in minutes. I tryed to recalibrate it and it was so high it callibrated ph 7 buffer (new lab grade) as ph 10. Is this a regular problem and if so how do people get a regular and accurate reading ie 5.8 as opposed to 5.5 etc?? any help would be great thanks guys..

G'day all, Been out of the game for a cpl years now however have started using my beloved equipment and tools again which had been neglected under the house for too long! So I have heaps of left over nutes and additives from the last op and am a little scared of using it all again... I've been using with no ill effects the remaining grow/flower A&B (all were nearly full bottles heh) so no problem there, however i'm worried about using the additives. I've got half a bottle of Microbial (root zone preventative) and ozi tonic/monsta bud aswell however I won't use them until I get some more opinions on 'how old is too old' for this sorta stuff? Or should I just g…

I was reading the label of ozitonic and comparing the ingredients to monstabud and they are the same except for the level of potassium being lower in ozitonic. So what is the point of using it at all.It is basically the same stuff.I dont se the point, just sounds like smart marketing on their part to me.
