Just a bit of nutrients news i thought i would share. Advanced Nutrients now has an Australian distributor and will soon be on the shelves of a lot of hydro shops. They have quite a few interesting sounding products like Bud candy, Bud factor x, Kushie Kush, Big Bud, Overdrive, just to name a few. They are all designed for specifically growing cannabis, so id love to give them a try. Hopefully they won't be too expensive.

Got a couple of bags of this laying around. I've been guilty of buying crap potting mixes in the past(as a lot of us have) and wonder.... Good or garbage? http://www.scottsaustralia.com.au/osmocote/osmocote-professional-potting-mix/osmocote-professional-rose,-gardenia,-azalea-camellia-mix/

Was doing some research on Fulvic acid tonight and stumbled across an interesting bit of information. You can actually make your own Fulvic acid using just white vinegar and peat moss! Grab 500g of peat moss Add it to 1.5L of white vinegar Leave the solution for 2 days Strain out the composted peat moss Use at a dilution rate of 1ml per liter of solution I assume will not be as pure as the fulvic acid you can buy in shops (if its made correctly anyway), however it should will be plenty good for gardening purposes as long as your vinegar contains only CH3CO2H + water ! Have not tried this myself, so you might just want to test on an unimportant plant in the garden be…

Hey everyone! I'm a newb here, also a newb in cultivation, this is my first ever grow. Been doing craploads of reading and trying to take it all in, but there are so many opinions that clash and it can all become a little confusing! My seedling was given to me rather sick. I wanted to do an outdoor deck grow (organic) and since transplanting it, it's been doing great.. until now. I've been feeding is a bit of Seasol, and also Fish Emulsion, but I think there's a nute deficiency (mainly Nitrogen), so I've been hunting around and Guano seems highly recommended. I'm gonna try out the Nature's Own Guano Super Grow and it states the average NPK is 10-10-2 (The Super Bloom is…

Scored a free Canna Terra pack from the local hydro shop yesterday. 25l bag of terra ,250ml veg and flores, 2 18l pots , moisture/ph probe and terra book, oh..and also had a packet of capsicum seeds? Apparently hydro shops all round the country that sell canna are giving them away this month. Sus out your local store.

Hi guys and gals, Firstly its pretty silly of me not have checked this before hand but is "liquid lead" and "uptake" the same thing? Also i fear i may have doubled my Liquid lead portion in my last res. fill. Can anyone tell me if that will be an issue? Having said that, if 'Uptake" and "liquid lead" are the same sort of product then i have now possibly tripled it. Surely thats a problem, well im not one to find out so will empty the thing and start again if so. But mostly need to know if double the LL is going to murder things or not. Cheers.

Gday guys I've recently dont the research and found that coco should help bring in a stella crop only thing is this wil be a grow that can only be attented to twice a week. I will be using the Canna brand coco mix with canna coco part a + b also with canna additives hole size is roughly 2ftx2ftx2ft and holds 60 odd ltrs of coco and could provide 100ltrs of water per week. will this be enough so bottom line can coco be somewhat low maintenance ? thanks everyone

Hi all Thought I would pick up some of the Proganics Root Care from Bunnings. I use House & Garden Rroots Excelurator with great results, it is expensive but worth every $ IMO. But it is expensive @$130 for 250ml, this cost me $20 for 1L which will do 1000L of water. So it is quite concentrated. If it is half as good as Roots Exl I would be happy. In a few weeks I will try a quick side by side grow using clones. Just veg them a few weeks and pull apart the root mass (so yes addicts there will be root porn) Proganics do have a full range of Hydroponic nutrients that you can get from Bunnings, I might give it a side by side later on if I get some room, see how it …

Ok so I am at the point in my grow journal where I need to start feeding my little ones . I have purchased this nute not long ago but it got me thinking how should I dose and how to apply (I dont want to over/underdo it this far in) Refer to the photos for details. It is 'Dr Grow It Alls organic liquid fert' I hope I chose well cause I paid a little bit for it. You can see the breakdown of elements in the mixture and also the dosage required. My first question...Spray the Foliage or water into the roots? How often? The dose? Never done this before so any help is greatly appreciated

Hi all just starting out again after a long hiatus and would like to ask you all your opinion on what mediums and nutrients I should start of with I used to use a recycling top drip system with rocks and canna nutrients but I now would like to hand water in a coco perlite mix under 600W Should I do a 50/50 coco perlite? Or is there something better out there And with all the different brands of nutrients out there whitch one is worth trying? I'm asking you guys because I have been to all the hydro shops in my area and none of them seem to really even give a shit. I think they must be getting enough money from commercial growers to not care about giving decent customer…
