This is by far the biggest and most healthy looking(to my amateur eye) seedling I have grown thus far. Does it look healthy to you guys? It would be 2-3 weeks old by now(counting the first day of soaking as day 1). The soil composition is a mixture of seed raising potting mix, peat and midrange(not premium) potting mix. I was experimenting with different mediums so I cannot tell you which is which It has been given one small dose of tomato fertiliser(way less that the recommended amount) and a touch of epsom salts. It has been grown under a large CFL (equivalent of 500W with 6.4k light output) with a few normal smaller CFLs in a mini-greenhouse indoors. Th…

I'm in deep shit. I'm 4 days from harvest and I went to check on my plants. Half of them look almost dead due to no water for 3 days. There in Coco. I'm suprised they dried out so quick. Can I just harvest in 4 days anyway?. Or is all lost?.

Hi team, I am 3.5 weeks into flowering. Indoor, SCROG, Celtic Stone, Auto-pot hydro, dutch master nutes, 400w hps, 250w MH. All was going well till about a week ago. I thought I burnt some foliage, and I probably did, but I got on it quick and moved the lights further away. I thought this would solve the issue. It did not. The weird thing is that only the plants nearest the HPS seem to be affected. The plant near MH looks fine. This would indicated to me nutes / ph are ok.... Besides the different light source, I was probably much heavier with the fan leaf pruning on these plants as I got a male in the MH side and pulled it so there was a lot of extra space so n…

Hi team, I popped some Celtic Stone seeds (my last) about 2 weeks ago in soil with fluro lighting. 2 days ago I transplanted them into perlite for an autopot system and put under HPS 400W. PH is 6, nutes are Dutch Master. No signs of any insects......but the leaves are starting to look awful! ANy ideas? CHeers.

Pretty much every plant in my group of 20 has a single curled blade on its leaf (or 1 or 2 more). It kind of twists. So whats going on? And it looks like a few have slight bends either up or down. I'm thinking it may be because my ph lvl is around 7-8 and is too high. I'm working on lowering that. Has anyone seen this before? I'm hoping someone can shed some light for me. Thanks in advance for the help. http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/2843/green009wz1.th.jpg http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/4909/green008tn6.th.jpg

Hey everyone as anyone got advice on what to do with 2 plants that, due to circumstances beyond my control, had to be kept in a large cupboard ( 3ft high x 4 ft deep x 5ft long) during veg (6 weeks veg- tried to tie it down as we went along). I am willing to veg for another 2 weeks if I have to prune it hard to regain what I cut, but what is the best way to prune them? I am tying them down to try and get a flat canopy, but there is not much substance to the plants, long, long internodal gaps, long lanky branches, and the secondary branches and shoots are matchstick thin. Any advice appreciated aussie

Hi everyone, been reading these forums for a little while now and have found it to be a tremendous wealth of information, but now I need some help on a possible problem that I havn't found any information relating to. Ok so some information on my 1st grow setup that im trying to do right the first time. 400w hps large 2mx60cmx2.2m wardrobe with 40cm fan, no ventilation as such yet and quite frankly im hoping not to have to cut it up unless its nessesary as this fan certainly moves the air around. using 100% coco 'nitrosol' nutrients (can someone tell me if i should bother buying something better? it has 12.2% nitrogen, 2.9% phos, 8.5% potassium and 2.1% calcium and im n…

Hi all I posted a couple of months ago asking if I could cut out large buds and branches ( approx 10-12 inches) at 7 weeks and let the rest of the crop go for another 2 weeks. I have done that, but noticed that in the 9th week a lot of the bud leaves turned a purplish hue. I have never let the crop go past 8 weeks before, and trichs were no where near amber, not even at 9 weeks and 4 days. Could this just be the strain ( no idea what strain I have), or is this a deficiency of some sort. Help appreciated aussie

Why good ventilation is needed and what can happen when you dont have good air flow to help keep moisture down. You will get a build up of moisture in the tight areas of the buds that dosent dry out with good air movement around the plants to help dry out those little moist spots and in time it can cause mold and Bud Rot ...

What are the chances of a main branch repairing itself when it has just suffered a major trauma? I hooked my sleeve on a branch that is attached to the main stem and snapped it halfway through right at the node! I gaffa taped it back together and am hoping for the best but I'll be pissed if I lose it as it has heaps of flowering sites on it... Is there anything else I can do? Jimbo- clumsy bastard -Jones

This image shows a plant that has suffered an accidental injury. The top lateral shoot or branch was snapped through approximately 60% and we want to save it as there is important bud sites on the shoot. When the snap occurred the branch was immediately placed back in position and bound with a small piece of tape but clean material or a splint would have been better (ziplocks and matchsticks). The position of the break made it difficult to apply a splint as well and would be better applied to a break further down the shoot. The idea is to make a support stand beneath the branch so that the faces of the two sides of the wound will be pressed together snuggly. The sup…
