Firstly if this has been answered anywhere please let me know as I have not been able to find it. I'm interested to know how those who grow Outdoor who start their plants of Indoor, transition the plants light schedule from Indoor to Outdoor, as in 18/6 or 24 to the shorter days of outdoor. Now I personally just let mine go from 18/6 into whatever the natural outdoor time is (which is a hell of a lot less hours than 18) which obviously kicks the plant into flower. The plant goes to flower for a little and then eventually realises the days are getting longer and reverts to veg. However does anyone actually know how to avoid the plant going to flower? I have tried research…

Hi, I couldn't find anything about this on google or using search so ill go right ahead and ask. This will be my first grow, outdoors. I'm wondering if it's possible to grow mother plants from seeds right now, let them grow outdoors and have them ready for cloning by the start of the season (sep-oct)? How mature do the mother plants have to be to start cloning? Is this possible, or do they HAVE to be grown indoors under lights? I ask because growing indoors isn't an option for me. Cheers

hey folks. just wondering if anyone would be able to give me some pointers as to what strains are likely to go well outdoors in tasmania... so from what i have read Im better off to stick to something that is indica dominate so the flowering period is shorter so i defs get a nice mature harvest before it gets to chilly? also keeping in mind that it is my second outdoor grow and have limited experience. i plan to buy some seeds off a website due to last years bag seed being really disappointing. also if there are any Tassy heads onboard that are prepared to share a seed bank that has successfully got the product here id appreciate a private message regarding a recommended …

Hey everybody, Just wanted to show off and post some pics of my Old Mother Sativa and White Widow grown in plain old dirt, fed on hydro nutes and Seasol once a week, with plain water every two days in between. They were grown under 600w HPS bulbs for vege cause everything that went outside flowered immediately but they have been put outside to flower last week. I gave up measuring ph and ec and ever since then they started to thrive????????? I'm really happy with their growth and formation, hope you think they are nice too, I'm proud as punch cause I suck at dirt growing... A bit of frost netting will be in order soon me thinks. I'll update this thread as they…

Hi Guys, I will be growing a few test seeds of a Medical Grade strain. If I get a good plant and want to clone it for next season what is the best way to go about it? I am good at cloning so the technique is not an issue but I was thinking about how I keep them alive over the winter to plant them up for the next season? ideas that come to mind are: 1) I could keep them under fluros but fear they would get too out of control during the winter. 2) clone one plant and keep it under fluro and "re clone" again come spring. 3) re veg the plant outside and clone from it come spring. Any ideas or experiences appreciated.

http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i393/enzolorenzo/2800.jpg http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i393/enzolorenzo/2800firstpistils.jpg As you can see in the second pic, this plant is just turning it on for me. Problem i have is the height has gone to 2800mm (i can't tie this one down) and can't afford it to grow more than another 400mm without becoming visible from road, neighbours etc. So am thinking of just chopping 3-400mm off the tops. Is this going to do anything? Should the plant still keep going into flower? Will it stop flowering where i cut the tops off? Will it throw the plant back into stretch? I am guessing i will lose about 8 of these tops, but am not wor…
