need some advice from growers in southern nsw with growing exp in the high country my question is I have a sativa dominate strain and was wondering when the best time is to germinate seeds and to plant them out in the forrests any advice would be great cheers

Hi all, with the up coming outdoor season almost here. Friends of mine have been talking over a games of chess and a smoke. One of my mates ( older dude 60 yo + experienced grower ) bought up point of as he calls it, multi mouthing. I have searched the net for technical names and info however found very little. The idea behind it, is like scroging where you spread the girl out via tie down method. But you bend the stem to the ground, give it a small cut, put rooting powder on it, cover with soil and let it root. Which as he has said makes another mouth to feed, helps keep the plant stable as we can get done crazy winds that do brake branches, and keeps it low to the groun…

Hey guys been checking out this forum and thought I'd join in. As the seasons coming up I'm looking at getting ready to start up. I'm looking at some different strains and so far I've chosen dr kripplings incredible bulk fems but I'm looking at one more strain to have a crack at. I'm wanting something fruity and high yielding that will go well outside. I gave critical kush a go last year which was good but I want to mix it up this year, any recommendations would be much appreciated. Also I'm looking at going through herbies anyone had any trouble going through them? Cheers

Folks, Preparing for this coming season and my spot is a 6km round trip on foot. On top of that will be my daily work on the patch. Used normal builders style slip on boots last season but didn't have that 6km walk. Im thinking a good brand suited to hiking but also the labouring work of digging and carting water. Any of you old heads point me in the right direction? Thanks

I planted a bag seed atleast a month ago and the little one is just not taking. I'm not using any nutes or anything. The soil is half 5 in 1 fertiliser and half potting mix. Its basically the worst way to grow it but I would have thought it would have been a bit bigger. Can anyone help me out with what I should do on a very minimum budget (230 bucks from ceno a fortnight). P.s I'm sorry for the very poor photos

Hey guys im new on the site so gday all. I was just wondering if you guys have any good strains for tassie. My old man grew Durban poison with great success but due to lost genetics I need some new strains as I cant find any good Durban phenos from any seedbank. Ive tried many many different strains for outdoors here but nothing seems to stand out to good, skunk#1 done really well if it was done nice n early but im at a higher altitude now so the skunk wont last from mould, ak48 done really well but I didn't think the smoke was all that exciting. Any suggestions on cold climate strains would really be appreciated. .

Here is a snap of a Seedism Applejack @103 days old - she's been flowering for about 2 weeks now and has just begun to get sticky whilst producing the aroma of green mangos And here is a Dutch Passion Durban Poison @103 days old as well - again flowering for about 2 weeks now and is moving along at a slower pace than the Applejack. I'm just beginning to see trichomes and resin forming and there is just a hint of aniseed when you take a whiff of the buds. The main issue I have with this particular plant is that she is still gaining height and this was exposing her to a vulnerable sight-line. I've had to relocate a sugar palm and some flowers to keep things stealthy…

I don't know much about growing cannabis but I am currently in the process of learning all about it. Is it possible for me to start growing in a nicely secluded area in Lane Cove national park or a place similar to this i.e not my home? Also I have just started learning about the large variety of seeds. I feel as though even If drew myself to exhaustion learning about all the different kinds I still wouldn't know anything about them. Does anyone have any suggestions for what kind of seeds I should try to seek out, maybe list your personal choice or the ones that first worked well for you?

Hey all, I am sure this has been answered before but I thought I would ask again in case others were in the same situation. For autumn/winter I either have the option of growing some autos flowers which would be started indoors under a 80W Philips CFL for 3-4 weeks and let it do it's thing andf be lucky to get an ounce. OR I would much prefer to grow some photo periods as my current ones are getting massive fat coke can size buds (which my auto's don't get to) but if I start the photo period plants indoors under a 18/6 light cycle for 3-4 weeks, and put them outdoors, will they flower and become a decent size? Hello! My hope is to grow outdoors throughtout winter here in Sydney and was wondering... have any of you fine Oz farmers experienced success with any Autoflowering strains during the winter months? My growing space is a discrete terrace with excellent direct sun from around mid-day to sunset and ambient light avaiable for no less than10 hours a day. The worst case scenario is that the plants will only get 5-6 hours of direct sun during the depths of winter, I'm not too worried about temperature as the space is protected from prevailaing winds and the slate tiles the pots sit upon retain an epic amount of heat through the day. I can bring them indoors at night.…

Originally started with 10, 5 were male and one hermie. So I have 4 remaining. Im positive that 2 are female, however im unsure what the other two as they developing alot differently compared to the other plants. So the photos below are off the plants im not sure about. I also have one plant that developing purple leaves, so im not sure why this is occurring. Any help would be much appreciated.

I've two remaining plants outdoors which are still showing clear trichomes and probably have another couple of weeks to finish. However, the weather has turned cold with not much sign of improvement on the horizon. Forecast for the next week is maximums of 15 to 18 degrees, minimums of 3 to 6 degrees and 1/2 to an inch of rain tomorrow. Will the plants continue to ripen or will the weather just degrade the quality of the smoke?
