Hey stoners Don't actualy know if this works or not. Have never tried an experiment with this method. In fact I couldn't even tell you where the info came from. Been rolling around in my computer for a while. Maybe some other enthusiast out there can organise a controlled experiment and let us all know if it works or not. Anyway here it is:- Interestingly it claims 100% on females and no Hermies. Now I have my own SEED SEXING method and although mine will not sepparate Hermies and I will not try to claim 100% My hit rate is always in the high 90's. More on this later as my method is all in my head at this stage. I will have to make that a fu…

I am curious as to when the ozstoner growers start there count for harvest . Googleing it , i found very mixed opinions , some start there 8 ,9 or 10 week count as soon as 12/12 is introduced others wait to see the formation of the 1st buds . I do not know if there is a "right" time to start the count down but would like to hear what growers on ozstoners go by when they switch to 12/12 . Cheers Badseed

Hi Guys 1st time (indoor hydro) cropper here - Just got word I have to go away for work for a bit, and my girls only just started showing themselves last Wednesday...! The other half is a non-supporter and of no assistance (THANKS Sweety!) so I've got just under 2 weeks (12 days only) to make some HARSH decisions. Can I harvest a flowering plant that's only been budding since May 9th, on May 26th? If so, can I use my indoor grow tent as a drying space for 3-4 weeks? ANY help would be great...!! If not, sadly it's the compost heap...

Hi all Am in desperate need of your advice please; Currently in week 6 just turned ready to flower but the node spacing is massive and wanting to reduce this if possible. We use MH lighting and have LST the babies but wondering if we haven't done enough LST an this contributes to the spacing? perhaps we need to reposition the lights but am concerned they will burn coz they are quite close already? Any advice would be greatly appreciated from everyone. Thanks heaps look forward to it. Peace out!

Hi ya, was speaking to my local shop owner today. Getting a new MH bulb for my upcoming veg. He asked if I had noticed if I had seen the difference in resin after using MH at the end of my flower. Had no idea what he was talking about. Got to chatting and was informed that, in the last 1-2 weeks of flowering. A few prodactic growers change there bulbs back to MH once there girls are on fresh water. As the light spectrum has more blue light which is better for resin production, then gives them 48 - 72 hours of total darkness. Turn all lights off. To really give killer resin at the end. I am really interested in anyone that has tried this or has any tips. As I am almost …

G'day everyone, The seeds have cracked and they will be going outdoor. They are only bag seed and I really don't if they make it or not. They will be put into paper pots and its pretty cold so I was wondering if putting a ziplock bag over the top and tape it there would help with the cold at all? Put some holes in it as well obviously.

G'day All, Have been reading up on the natural pgr Triacontanol. Seems to be a key ingredient in a lot of the floral boost products. Has anyone tried this as an additive? and, with any success? Have found some for sale on e-bay ( for a much cheaper price than the " boost " products ) and would just like to know if it's worth giving a try? Thanks

I have read a few grow reports. But I want to ask. When is to much. I am on my second week of flower and I feed my girls 24 ec. In 2 weeks tone I will as I always do on 28. I don't get burning. However is feeding then to much. My last girls ended on 30 before 2 1/2 weeks of flushing. Of zero ec. Is this to much??

For the first time I have been starting my seedlings off straight into dwc after the root shows through the bottom of the rockwool cube. I reckon the growth rate is pretty amazing and couldn't help sharing with you all. Please add some comparison pics of your own to the thread, it would be good to get a range of growing mediums and methods. This seedling is in a rockwool cube in a 40mm netpot, under a 400W HPS (18/6), ppm around 550, pH from 5.5-6.0. This picture shows the difference 7 days makes in my dwc system. Naycha

He's a link to a chappy that occasionaly has something interesting to say baout cultivation. He calls this "The Shake": a modified supercrop.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91sep68Oxyc&feature=g-all-u move the time line to 4:48 if ur not into his channel. (end result 16:04) Id be intersted to discuss this, does anyone already do this? Is this rediculous? will the plant respnse time move quickly enough to resistribute the apical hormones to the lower branches to encourage growth, or will this temporarily stall the canopy allowing the lower braches to catch up, the slower growth, MIGHT mean for a thicker main stem

Hi all, I am planning to grow a plant indoors (first time), with no extra light, ventilator etc, just planting it and taking good care of it. I am not looking at massive yield or anything, personal use strictly... Will it work? Will it mature decently with just a natural light next to a window?
