General Cultivation Q&A

This is my first time attempting to build a grow box. I need some general tips on how to ventilate the grow box. i aslo need to know what would be the best light to use that i could pick up from a hardware store. I have had a few tips from different places when it comes to lighting. but i just seem to get more confused. I do not have alot of money so the cost must stay low.

ive used dm-hotcoco, neem-coir, canna these brunnings bricks are cheap as..looks like dm-hotcoco comes from sri-lanka aswell. Ive expanded and flushed some and it looks fine. has anyone else used it? ive heard its shit, stunts growth etc etc..rubbish? is this true? some seeds popped and im about to stick em in some of this.. thanks.

Ive got about a few plants growin from some bagseed. im going to repot them in a week or two so i mixed up some soil this arvo.. which consisted of: -2kg blood & bone (different than usual, it was yellowy like sawdust sort of) -About 4-5kg potting mix. I didnt have enough so i had to use some old potting mix from another pot. -A couple of hadfulls of coconut fibre -1 spoon of thrive soluable all purpose I dont have a PH meter so how balanced do you think this is? good? it feel quite light and fluffy.

I got given a bag from south australia had a few seeds and i grew them. does anyone know the most commonly used strains for south aus they havnt sprouted their serate leaves yet so not sure weather indica or sativa.

Hi. I ahve two questions regarding growing weed hydrponically. Firstly, Perth laws mean that you can have two non hydro plants with a fine and all that. What are the laws for hydro weed around the country? Well after 10 years of faithful service I lost my "little girls" (red devils) they were the fastest growing/budding i've ever seen. Due to human error(using some fungicide at 100 to 1 instead of 1000-1) and a faulty"cheap" timer.after a trip away I came home to find about 20 slimy grey sticks in pots, I now know how other people feel.To make matters worse apparently MJOZ is no longer in existance-the future looks bleak to say the least.

Hi everyone. I am hoping to, at some stage, grow my first plant(s) in a public place near my house. I live with my parents so i cannot grow at home. Firstly, I was hoping that you could recommend some good seeds (strain and seedbank). They obviously need to be sent to Perth but they also need to suit an inconspiquous outdoor grow. The shorter the better but i also enjoy the Sativa high as i smoke socially and mostly at parties and don't like couchlock. In other words, a strain that is both Sativa and Indica. Any sugguestions? It was brought to my attention that my plant might be a hermaphrodite (Talking about busting someones bubble ). Could you please analyze this picture and tell me what you guys think. I don't know how to tell a hermie that isn't showing any true male qualities. I.E. his nuts sacks Muchos Gracias

Here a few of my Bonsai Moms wondering if anyone else keeps them. I like to think of them as little pieces of art. Trouble Maker B-52 Big Buddha Cheese Kali Mist (*The Kali-mist seems to have the most trouble with compact growth it jut wants to stretch and stretch) All these with the exception of the Kali-Mist were planted last March. I can cut about 10 clones off every three weeks. pot is a 25oz cup and average about 8'' - 12'' tall including the pot. I have to cut the roots once in the past 7 months but now there settling in quite nice and shouldn't need to be done for another year.

I sprouted my Highgrade Seeds , Blueberry . 2 out of 3 sprouted ,, have grown them ,, and they are both hermies Trying the White Widow now , better luck I hope .
