Is this bud ready yet? It has maybe a few white pistils maybe 5% or less. I have a few glands explode already, so I think it is good to go. I do not have a loop, so I am going by the pistils. It is on week 10 and this is the first bud that looks ready. This is some really cheap bag seed, probably the cheapest you could buy, It turned out surprisingly good growing hydro though, It is definitely an outside plant. If someone could help because I want to harvest this bud if its ready to give light to others below it. Thanks

Was wondering how much of a difference you get from 1000w on 6 or 8 plants to 2000w ( 2x 1000w) on 6 to 8 plants? Double the yield? a little under double? 1 and a half? Not sure if ill go 2k or 1k for my next grow but wondering what advantages it would yield. Grow room size is available to be seen here: https://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners...40&start=40 (don't have a measurement tool on hand so have to look at the pics) edit: https://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners...st&id=43793 - this pic gives you a good idea of grow room size if interested (200mm pots).

Hi Guys, On the fourth week of flowering and not really impressed with bud size so far, I'm growing in coco under 600W and have been feeding the girls Dutchfest Hydrogrow flowering nutrients. Just doing some minor pruning tonight to improve light to bud sites I was planning to add some canna PK-13 in two weeks time and now I am considering buying something like monsterbud or rock juice to improve yeild, ......I have heard good things about cyco flower and I also have some potash which I add to my garden outside that I was thinking of adding to the plants .....any suggestions or experiences people would care to share?

Well didn't I have a wonderful day today. My plants are in there 6th week of flowering and I noticed A bud that had a seed in it. Grr I scaned all my plants with a fine tooth combe and found ONE extremly small pollen sack. opened.... Hidden right under a bud. Well the good news is it was on a very low bud un my plants and none of the cola's got any pollen. but it is still very frusterating. This just goes to show that you have to inspect your plants very very thoughly when growing F1 seeds. anyways just thought i would share my anger. Post a new topic in Miscellaneous

SIMPLE & EASY CO2 I thought about this last night. For alot of people access to CO2 can be difficult or you might just not know where to get it. Well you could get it from the supermarket yes the supermarket in any Aussie state. The two major ingredients for this simple chemical reaction are baking soda and..........you named it vinegar, putting these to together cause a chemical reaction which results in CO2 being released. You can come up with whatever method of construction you like to set it up. 1. What i did was get two 1lt bottles, two ice cream containers and two 3lt milk bottles. 2. Cut the bottom of the milk bottles off this will be used to…

i'll post some pics up later tonight, but i'm having a problem and it could be from a few possible causes, the first me not knowing what i'm doing. i've set up a recirculating system, the recirculating bit works fine but not the circulating bit. obviously pics will help but the system is fed by a 400 L p/h pump 13mm. it requires a head height of about 1m and i'm finding there isn't enough pressure in the hose (which has 1 x 13mm end plug either side of its 1.5m length). i have 5 x 4mm flex tube coming off the one piece of 13mm poly tube and the pressure in this tube isn't equal either. normally only 2 out of the 5 hoses will work, although if you manually syphon the wat…

Hi there everyone, just a couple of questions about starting up my first plants... First of all, I have 20 or more seeds all found in the bottom of baggies... should I have any problem with these age wise? Also, although the bud has been all the same strain, they seem to be about 50/50 small neat and green or big bulbous and dark brown-black, with just a few mid way between. Which ones will produce the better plant? Secondly, there are times when I can be away from home for up to 5 days, what is the best method for growing in these circumstances? I'm also on a VERY low budget so is it possible to do with almost nonexistent funds? I'm not looking for a heroic crop, just en…

Just got my aerogarden (still waiting on seeds) but I got my setup planned out, and I need some help for optimum growth. Goal: to produce 2 ounces of bud in 2 months using the aerogarden (between 2-4 female blueryders). Makes a nice quart a week for me The first attachment is the part of my room the aerogarden will be in (I'm not sure what will happen to the walls but I'll line it with plain paper for reflecting light + protection). The second is a view of my closet, the light from the corner of the picture is where the aerogarden is (I'm planning on using that square piece of wood on the floor to make a makeshift 'door' to cover the majority of the space). The top is le…
