Hey all! I'm new to OS and am a long time grasscity.com member and am looking for some more local knowlege from you veteran growers! I am current thinking of a indoor grow and it will be my first, I am also desiring to go for an indoor soil grow instead of hydro. My question is simple, what nutrients should I use for my clones/seeds - mature plants and finally the mother. I'd prefer to go organic and am limited to online purchasing and bunnings. I'll be purchasing a 600w Hps light and 400w Mh for my lighting if that helps, the strain will be great white. I noticed with a hermaphrodite plant before, that it grew un-unformed & had two different looking sides with the nodes across from eachother at different heights & each side had different sized shape & leaves with the ajecent side nodes on one side pointing more up & the other side pointing more out. So I am just wonder if anyone has noticed the same when finding hermaphrodites before the flower cycle, or do they mainly/sometimes just sneak up on you?

Is it is possible to limit the height of outdoor plants by keeping their root space relatively restricted? I know that keeping a plant in a tiny pot for nine months wouldn't be a good idea, and I have no intention of doing that. However, I can't have 2 or 3 six foot plants in my backyard either. I'm not sure whether I really want to start tying down and topping, seeing as I've read some positive and some negative things about using such methods. Therefore, I thought that it might be a good idea to keep them in pots that are slightly smaller than what people would generally recommend. A friend of mine told me he watered his plant with his dirty bong water he says that is why it was so chronic... I said you need more proof and that the strain of seed was just good... So it got me thinking if the plant was more potent from the psycho active chemicals still in the water then why isn't anyone feeding there plant with the potent chemicals like thc and cbns.... well maybe the plant cannot absorb it, or even that if it did absorb the thc ect, once absorbed into the roots it would change the chemical make-up of the thc ect because of photosethesis and how it gives nutes to the plants if thats so then the bong water watering wont work... Hello all Can anybody recommend the most optimum Ph levels for a hydo system, For Germination, seedlings/cuttings, Vegatation, and flowering! G'Day, After a lengthy hiatus i am returning to one of my favorite hobbies. Problem is in the 3 years or so since i last put a plant on i have forgotten a great deal of information. At the moment my little 7 day or so old seedlings have nute burn. I have decided to let them grow and see if they can recover or not. Today I have germed a new batch of seedlings and im looking at starting again correcting the mistakes that i made with the first batch.
