General Cultivation Q&A

Hi all, I'm obviously new to all this and am in the stages of planning my first grow I've been reading and following a few indoor grow diaries, watching video's and doing as much research as possible. I feel like I'm about ready to get started however I have a few questions regarding how I'll have this setup and would really like to get some opinions... This is just a personal project, so I'm not that worried about yields yet - I'd rather know that I can actually grow something without it dieing as I'm not much of a gardener (yet!). Hey guys, Ordered some beans from demon seeds last week, wow they got here quick 5 working days! ok So being a new grower i'm attempting to germinate these seeds, i've got afghan kush, LSD, and vanilla kush and a shitty bagseed found a unused tupperware box around the house and put a good layer of perlite through the bottom, got 4 rockwool cubes and soaked them in ph'd water to 5.8-6 (using strips so hard to tell) put the seeds in pushed down slightly and covered with some rockwool... for the first day i didnt put a drainage hole in the tupperware container, however after abit of reading i decided to put one in the middle as rockwool holds moisture well. its get…

Hi all, im new to the grow business and im still setting up. I want to know what the best soil/medium we can get here in australia? A mate told me canna coco but i would rather hear it from you guys that have been doing this for a while... something that is correct or close to correct pH would be awesome... all i want to grow is simple auto's. nothing to hard. Please help me out guys, cheers

Hey there, new user here (but an old fart) I got 5 auto NL seeds and five auto widow seeds. I think I the NL are Nirvana. Anyway I have seen quite a few mentions around the traps that auto Nl Is a dud, it is not auto, opr even it does not exist. I got 4 happening from the 5. The first one to germinate is 28cm after 3.5 weeks and has just turned (very nice plant), the rest are about a week behind. Does anyone have any experience with these? So far, assuming they are actually auto NL (I think some kush in there too) all I have read may be crap or have I just been lucky with the first one?

heys guys have got 8 clones in rockwool all have got roots starting to pop out the sides know.they where taken off a plant that was 3 weeks into flower..the clones are about 2 weeks old know i have had them in the humidity dome the hole time should i know drop the humidity down and start watering them with quarter strenth veg nutes for say a week before putting them in my recirc system

I'm new to this site, hi. I have previously dabbled (not particularly successfully) with growing before moving to Oz, and was using a hydroponic setup in a wardrobe. I'm now keen to try an outdoor grow, say in a pot on the balcony of my top floor apartment, and am after some advice from people that have used the same kind of setup(s) that I am thinking about. How can I avoid detection? How do I cover my ass when the landlord rocks up to check the apartment? What is a good soil to use? These are the kinds of questions that I have... I'm also considering using a grow tent indoors for over the winter, but also as another option for if/when the pot gets too stinky outd…

Howdy, pretty sure its up to week 7 of flower but they still seem pretty small. I may have really miss calculated the time here or just forgotten by the looks of it. There's that and i think the cold has really slowed them down a bit too. Im in a 6 foot tent big enough for 2 plants with an oscilating fan and heat chord around the pots for a little extra warmth. (400hps) im not sure what to do feed wise tho now. Obviously i dont wanna start bringing it down if they arent ready. I was hoping for some insight if posssible. Im using Canna A/B and Rizho. Ive been adding a product called uptake after i ran out of Boost. and ive been adding molasses to bring up the rest …

hey everyone think my last plant has decided to hermi on me, and i have a dozen sensi outdoor mix seeds is it worth using them inside or should i just order more seeds that are recomended indoors any help would be much appreciated.
