MOTHER PLANTS 1 2

I'd like to keep several strains on the go to reduce the "tolerance" problems some. My question: Can I keep different mother plant strains under the same light or do they need to be separated. Grew 2 strains together once, all feminised and all turned male and was told that was because mixing strains was a no no (why?), BUT what about the mothers? Thanks

Hi there, I was wonder if you were to order seeds from online into AUS. What are the chances I will be prosecuted and/or having the seeds confiscated? They say they pack it discreetly but I just don't know....

My hydro system consists of a small submersible pump with a 12mm (1/2) outlet, a 50 litre (11 gal) plastic tub with a lid (similar to Rubber Maid in US) for a reservoir, a programmable plug-in timer, some 12mm (1/2) plastic pipe, 3mm (1/8") flexible tube, connectors and drippers. The 12mm (1/2) plastic pipe, 3mm (1/8") flexible tube, connectors and drippers are all standard watering system parts. The end of the 12mm plastic pipe connects to the pump, that and the power cord for the pump pass though a slotted hole in the reservoir lid, The pipe travels around the wall of the grow room and the end of it then fits through another hole in the lid, it has a fe…

OK, Has anyone ever tried covering one branch of a plant to determine its sex early? The method i have heard about goes like this; Take a toilet roll (just the cardboard inner) and cover one end with some card board. tape it up well so no light can penetrate. place the dunny roll over one branch. leave it for a couple of weeks, take it off and see if it showing signs.. The guy that told me about this is an amazing gardener, but he is also a champion bullshit artist.. I am concerned that the plant may shock into hermi, or that part of the branch just die after not recieving light for a couple of weeks. I would be interested to hear from anyone that has tried this,…

Yo, just a quick question. Is there any benefit from using a spray bottle of water to mist the leaves of a vegetative plant, whenever you water it? I understand it helps with newly sprouted plants to stop them from drying out but is there any pro's or cons to spraying in the next stage of growing. or is it better to just pour water on the soil.

I had some seeds sent from the Attitude Seed Bank in the UK, which claims to be the largest Cannabis seeds superstore in the world, and that their seeds are fresh and tested. None of the seeds they sent me (including promotional seed freebies) germinated properly. I had them between wet paper towelling for over a week at temperatures above 21°C. Is it possible that customs or Australia Post zaps all incoming parcels with X-Rays or some other seed killing mechanism, when they see a suspicious package without a return address? Has anybody else had similar problems?

Been thinking of odering some fem seeds.. Looked into it a bit and looks like MOST varieties are more likely to go herm or male than regular seeds.. However, it appears that Dutch Passions Mazaar strain is fairly stable, with a few people saying they have had up to 100% sucess.. Can we get a list going of stable Femanized seeds? cheers
