Hi guys, another question from me! I'm just looking into an EC meter but i'm a little confused. My local shop only has one and he want 60 bucks for it and wont budge on price. So I've been checking a couple out on ebay. There seems to be a fair difference between them though, starting from $10 and going to hundreds. I figure there is always an element of you get what you pay for, and quality prob will vary, but are there any other main differences? What is confusing me is the measurement units used and the scales offered. OK, so as a nature lover, I am keen on ensuring Australias rich biodiversity is protected. But as a pot head I am interested in importing high quality cannabis seeds... Has anyone ever found any evidence of; little critters, mould, dirt or anything else that may affect our ecology in their seed packs from overseas. I think it is a real concern. thanks Puka

as the title says , i ve never grown before but it becoming my only option really ( if this is in wrong section, my bad) what is the easiest and cheapest way to do this? will be purely for personaly use, however i am quiet a heavy smoker atm..well maybe im not compared to others on here, but its the heaviest ive ever smoked it.. im guessing an ounce would last a month give or take sick if driving 2 hours each way to get my weed, dont know anywhere in bris so i think growing it myself is a must. how long does it take from starting till when you can start smoking it? does it use a shitload of electricity i cant really afford at this stage anything too flash or exp…

Hey all, when growing my last seedlings all strains except cole train seemed to do well outside, im not sure why but this particular strain did not want to grow a second internode or any true leaves, I tried a second time as summer had taken hold but the leaves dryed out and so I put her back in the tent which was running at 12 12 after about 5 weeks one little flower had grown on top of each plants, worrying about numbers i decided to cull them as i was not going to get any "yield" to speak of. But instead i couldn't end their life after I had given them so much attention already so I plucked off the top set of leaves(not that there was much left) and flower and planted …

Kinda of a wierd question Thinking about growing in a garage which is not close to hose If I put a big water tank in there and fill it up its going to take a long time to use all the water , probably 6 months or more would the age of the water be an issue?

G'day, Ozstoners. Opened the tent this arvo and what seemed like thousands of tiny black flies took of in every direction. They havn't come back in any great number since. I also noticed a bit of mouldy/algae water in the corner of the tent. Has anyone else had anything like this happen to 'em? Would be good to know what these things are for future reference. Poice.

For the first time I have been starting my seedlings off straight into dwc after the root shows through the bottom of the rockwool cube. I reckon the growth rate is pretty amazing and couldn't help sharing with you all. Please add some comparison pics of your own to the thread, it would be good to get a range of growing mediums and methods. This seedling is in a rockwool cube in a 40mm netpot, under a 400W HPS (18/6), ppm around 550, pH from 5.5-6.0. This picture shows the difference 7 days makes in my dwc system. Naycha

He's a link to a chappy that occasionaly has something interesting to say baout cultivation. (end result 16:04) Id be intersted to discuss this, does anyone already do this? Is this rediculous? will the plant respnse time move quickly enough to resistribute the apical hormones to the lower branches to encourage growth, or will this temporarily stall the canopy allowing the lower braches to catch up, the slower growth, MIGHT mean for a thicker main stem

Hi Guys, Just a quick question, I figured Nibbler can prob help me here, he seems to be to coco king, but others may know too! How exactly do I flush coco properly? I am running NF Mega Coco brick with NF Coco A + B in a hand watered run to waste system under a 400w HPS. I had originally planned to flush every week, but after learning how long it take for this stuff to dry out completely, I am re-assessing this. So I've read a fair bit on here so far, I'm watering/feeding to 10-20% run off only when the Coco is fully dry. I have now read I should flush at least right before I switch to flower, then prob every two weeks from there, until the final 1-2 week "starve" f…

Couple of weeks away from my next grow and I really need to ditch the hydro nutes. So I need some soil growers to critique my ideas and give me some ideas. Doesn't need to be organic, I don't have the room or space at the moment to brew teas or compost. Sorry for the crap photo's but it's all I have unfortunally. so If you can see the single plant photos have some leaf curl going on. but the rest are not curling. medium= searls premium/perlite, 90/10 nutes= chrons super sauce, green dream flowering nutes It's been 5 days since they last had any nutes, they have been rained on a bit and I have given them some water out of the tap. The only thing I can come up with is maybe getting to hot in the corner for that one plant.. Is leaf curl a sign of heat stress? edit* green dream nutes is flairform
