General Cultivation Q&A

Hi all, My seedlings have been in the coco for two weeks and have had very little growth, they are of a healthy green with the first baby leaves a touch yellow. Now the coco they are in I didn't get to the right ph, would that slow them down? If so should I flush them completely with phd water?

Hey all. I am planning on A guerilla grow this outdoor season and I didn't even think of mixing up some soil. Can anyone recommend A pre-brought soil brand or A quick recipe that doesn't need to sit for months. My local landscaping place sell A "garden mix" by the sq metre. I was thinking of asking them the NPK and ph levels as well as the ingredients and just add what I need to this mix. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi all, So I'm totally new at this and have created an account just so I can ask this. I have read for hours and hours on how to grow but have never actually grown before. I planted some seeds at the end of last december. 1 type was og kush and the other was free so I dont know what it is but its definitely an indica. They germinated fine, grew fine (I have them in pots that hold about 20kg of potting mix), I watered them plenty, but they took ages to flower. The free ones have sort of half flowered but the og kush aren't even close. Have I done something wrong? Both types are still growing but just really really slowly. I thought they should just flower in May-Apri…

I am curious as to when the ozstoner growers start there count for harvest . Googleing it , i found very mixed opinions , some start there 8 ,9 or 10 week count as soon as 12/12 is introduced others wait to see the formation of the 1st buds . I do not know if there is a "right" time to start the count down but would like to hear what growers on ozstoners go by when they switch to 12/12 . Cheers Badseed

Hello all, I'm back but this year I am also doin a hydro run as well as an outdoor run Now, my cupboard is all nicely set up and when I start this grow I will do a diary, but i need help with two things... - I'm goin to grow in a recirc satelite system (I think that's the type) And will be growing in 60/40 perlite and vermie.. I need to know how often to run the pump for feedin. - secondly, I'm runnin a 600w san-T light and have a 200mm extraction fan, do I need an inlet or will checking them daily be enough air? Hi guys I currently have a 1.5 x 1.1 x 0.5m wardrobe with a 400watt ballast which can run either MH or HPS. At the moment I have some 4-5 week old medicine man and afghan seedlings growing under MH. I plan to take some clones once they get big enough, switch the MH for HPS for flowering and want to have another wardrobe just for the vegetation stage. So 2 wardrobes running simultaneously to keep the cycle going. I want to keep the power bill and heat as low as possible, so looking at getting either CFL or T5 lights for the vegetation cupboard. ATM I am looking at either something like this 6400k 2x55w bulb T5 setup on ebay or a growlush 6400k 130w CFL. Any tho…

New clone tent I picked up from Accent hydro,as you can see in the pics its got a table with a sweet top/work bench to fuck around on,plenty of room up there and even a little bin on the side,currently has 7 white widow clones and 3 pineapple chunk,and a couple of pineapple chunks from a while ago that rooted and I transplanted but neglected,so there getting some tlc with some Canna start and rhizo,clones are on demineralised ph'd water 6.0,cheers kk

Hi all just a newbie question, ive got a big bomb and thc bomb from bomb seeds going at moment i just switched to 12/12 a week ago, i was wondering if it is alright to transplant them into bigger pots or would this cause too much shock. ( im afraid of hermi-ing them) The reason i didnt do it earlier was i didnt have any money to buy bigger pots. Cheers

Hi all, Have put 5 seeds into small pots and they have all just came out. There in coco too When should I chuck them in the drobe? Was thinking just as they get the secondary leaves and ill put them I'm the corner of the cupboard.

Hi all, gonna plant some seeds into coco. But haven't got my ph up /down yet. Should I wait till Monday/Tuesday to plant. Or just go ahead in coco? Or should I try vinegar to get the ph down?
